The jury is still out. But let me share my experience, as it may help in your search.First, some context. Searching for fire tables over the last 6 months, I've come to consider the following features as important to our purchasing decision: Price Range (under $700), Style (Character AND Class), Durability (We have 2 wild boys), Performance (>40,000 BTUs), and Seller Reputation (good or better).We have yet to find one fire table that checks all of these boxes. I had hoped this would be the one.Unfortunately, when it arrived, the shipping box appeared to have undergone some duress, for which I cannot fault the seller, or the manufacturer. I expect any box this large and heavy would arrive with similar wear and tear.More unfortunate was the state of the fire table. I WILL fault the manufacturer for this. Thin foam sleeves intended to protect the outside edges of the fire table had not been sufficient. Around the top edge were several chips in the tile, ranging from dime to quarter size, revealing the fragile, sandy inside of the tile, prone to chip away easily.Aside from the chipping, the fire table looked very nice. Just as we had expected. Our inside fireplaces are crafted from similar faux-wood tile, which tends to be quite durable and looks very much like real weathered wood.All other components of the fire table were in tact, seeming well-designed and made of quality materials.The seller, AZPerfume, has been fairly good to work with thus far. Although, they do not publish a phone number, so all correspondence must be via email, which can be frustrating because their email response time has been 2-3 business days. They required I send photos of the damage in order to process the return. Then, they scheduled a FedEx pickup from my home. When the damaged fire table reaches their warehouse, I have been told I will be contacted again to let them know whether I prefer a refund, or an exchange. I'm still on the fence.For the price, I think this is a really good fire table. I'm very picky, and this is the first one I ordered after looking for 6 months. I would buy this fire table again without hesitating IF I could be sure there would be no damage due to shipping. But I'm doubtful it would arrive without damage if packed the same way, shipped from the same place, and via the same courier.So, right now, my recommendation (and the route I'll probably pursue) is purchasing this table from Home Depot if/when it is back in stock. I would definitely have it shipped to the store, though, so that I could inspect the quality before taking it home.Hope this is helpful. Stay warm. Cheers.

The product was delivered damaged not once but twice. Clearly the packaging is not appropriate, as the product really weighs 119lbs.It's sort of compressed glass fibers panels with a paint finish on it, which makes it look great but also prone to shipping issues.Aside of the gaping hole on the side, the product works great.

Nice look to it but the metal was loose on the side. It is too big to ship back so we just had to wedge it.
