AmazonBasics Mattress Foundation/Smart Box Spring - 5", Full

I had to return this foundation because it did not fit my antique full bed. However, I was impressed by the high quality, good design and easy assembly. It appears to be very well made, and is great quality for price. I am also impressed with the packaging. It was so easy to replace the items in the shipping box -- perfect for. I am also amazed that Amazon is doing a free pick-up, so I will not have to lug this heavy, awkward box to the UPS store.

I’m so glad I found this box spring. My local furniture store was charging over 2.5x the cost for a similar box spring, and it was going to take over a week to receive. This one arrived in two days, and was surprisingly simple to assemble. No tools required. It fit perfectly snug in our daughter’s bed frame and seems very sturdy. I’m very happy with the quality.

Omg when I say that when I saw you could buy a box spring on Amazon- I'm not going to lie I felt dumb for not looking sooner. Had a bed bug infestation for the past year and finally convinced my dad it was a legit problem. The start of it was from when my sister came over to hang out and brought them over from her house. They made home in my old box spring. Fortunately, I was able to remove the old full bed set and EASILY put this bad boy together, less than 15 minutes too! No tools. But there was one problem, the left hand bottom leg to the bottom base frame where the screw / pin slid into the joint to connect the bottom piece of the frame was bent ! I wasn't able to screw the little screw in AT ALL! so I had to take some steel stick and hope for the best. Already burned my other bed in the process of getting this one build and taken out. Couldn't go back. Wouldn't recommend getting this without steel stick JUSSSST incase. It's a very nice box spring and the cover was difficult to put on too- I had to have help from my fiance, but other than that - beyond worth the 100$!! I would say go for it.

This was really easy to assemble. The quality is really amazing! Really great price for this product that is very sturdy, easy to assemble, very elegant looking, easy to move around and true to it's size description.

I assembled this product with no problem whatsoever, until I got to the very last metal slat.All of the slats are exactly identical, except for one. The plastic insert on the last metal slat was out slightly enough for it not to fit.I stood the slat from end-to-end.... one end on the ground, and the other end that was slightly out, facing the ceiling. I took my hammer and pounded it in; until it was inserted into the slat all the way. After that, there was no problem assembling the last slat into the frame.Overall, I would have to say that it's an excellent support from my mattress and I would recommend it. Just make sure you have a hammer or a mallet to hammer in any of the plastic end inserts that are making the metal slats just slightly too long to fit.One last mention about the very nice zippered cloth cover..... it makes the box spring look very nice. It was easy to assemble onto the metal frame.I wish I could give this product a 5. But because of the trouble that I had with one metal slat, I gave it a 3
