The title says it all. I make pour-over coffee one mug at a time, and this goose neck kettle is perfectly sized for that. Note that depending on how the water gets heated and how sustained that process is, the handle can get a bit warm to hold. Not, in my experience, too warm; but somewhere above skin temperature. For me, however, the design and capacity makes that a minor consideration.

This little pot works very nicely for pouring. I mostly use it for watering the plants in my kitchen window, but have used it with boiled water for tea, coffee, etc. I might try using it for a thin gravy or even homemade syrup. I have not attempted to heat water directly in it and wouldn't consider doing so.
