Very Poor Value
Many reviewers say this is an excellent value and one even said it has excellent stabilization. I think people need to know what they are getting with this camera. This camera has no image stabilization. None. It has an "anti-shake" mode that does absolutely nothing at all. It also has a "Far Mode" that doesn't increase zoom, but it does mess up the auto exposure, so it's worse than pointless. This camera has only digital zoom, and it has far less than claimed. It has maybe 5x-8x max, nowhere near 64x. It gets so pixelated and blurry, that the zoom is virtually useless anyway. It has a fixed focus lens. There is no autofocus or manual focus of any kind. Anything closer than 3.5 feet or so will be out of focus. It includes a wide angle lens, but even with that lens the viewing angle is not very wide at all. Plus, the wide angle lens drastically reduces image quality. Without the wide angle lens the viewing angle is really tight, particularly indoors. The lens aperture is fixed as well. It's a totally fixed lens. The colors and skin tones are horrible. It usually makes my skin look like I'm either sunburned or dead, depending on the ambient lighting and white balance mode I choose. There is also a magenta color shift most of the time, making darker yellows and browns look magenta. It also makes lighter yellow look pink and makes tan and light brown look red. The sharpening is also over the top, causing sharpening artifacts and strange detail highlights that look cartoonish and unnatural. While it does create 4K files, I compared the actual amount of detail with a good 1080P camera and this Ordro was behind that camera in terms of detail. In fact, it was beaten in every way by a $130 point-and-shoot camera. The audio quality is terrible. The built-in audio seems to have one of the microphones buried in the camera, so only the right channel has somewhat normal audio, thought it is very quiet. The left only seems to pick up camera handling noise. That's all you can hear in the left channel, and it's louder than anything the right channel picks up. The mic that picks up the left channel must be literally inside the camera somewhere. It's awful. The included external microphone has a ton of hiss, terrible interference noise that sounds like a lawnmower and it is pretty quiet unless you are right next to it. The audio levels aren't adjustable, and even the +20db switch position on the microphone does nothing. The dynamic range is also terrible. I was talking with my mouth about 4 inches from the external mic and despite having to turn the audio up in post to get proper levels, the audio was clipping from the camera. And there's nothing you can do about that because you can't adjust levels on the mic or in the camera. It has settings only available in photo mode that do affect video mode. It has settings that randomly change back to default and ruin shots constantly until you get in the habit of checking them every time you turn the camera on. Sometimes they haven't changed, sometimes they have. And checking them involves changing camera modes because they only show up in one mode, despite effecting both modes. The touch screen isn't very responsive and you must be slow and deliberate with taps and swipes or it will ignore them entirely, or do the wrong thing. You can't change any settings while recording. If you are recording and want to change the exposure compensation you have to stop recording to change it.I recommend you take the positive reviews with a grain of salt and do some research before buying this camera. It's not a good camera and it's not a good value.

Sharpening Algorithm is a joke and can't be turned off - AND IT DOESN'T AUTOFOCUS
** Update: The reason they have the crappy auto-sharpening algorithm is the fact it doesn't let you manually focus and it doesn't auto-focus. It has no face recognition and no ability to give you clear, consistent video when videoing subjects/portraits/etc.After testing this camera for 2 weeks in 4k mode there is only one conclusion I could come to: The picture quality sucks because it has built in algorithm that sharpens them image via firmware in the camera. You can't turn it off and it typically plagues cheap consumer cameras such as this one. Good cameras don't do this or they at least have the option to turn it off.Stay away from this and pretty much any 4k camera under $500. They don't actually autofocus very well so they compensate with a crappy sharpening feature that is not changeable. In case you didn't know the worst thing you can do to a video or picture is to artificially sharpen it - it almost always turns out terrible with overblown unflattering exaggerated flaws / etc it picks up in the face. I just started testing a Panasonic 4k HC-VX981 and wow - a few hundred more and BAM great video.I'm giving it two stars because there's worse. Their support is a joke and even though they actually could give access to locked features such as sharpening they won't. They just give you the finger.

You could do better
Ok for the money. You could do much, much better for just a bit more. Quality overall is lacking.

great value for the money!
I love my new Rodro camera!! I have been using it for a documentary of my van conversion and travels.the stability is great for walking even driving in a van on rough roads. the picture quality is outstanding but make sure your TV can handle 4K. I find if you don't use a good TV you wont see the true meaning of 4K. when zooming in the camera acts very fast great vulva for the money

Nice quality camera kit.
The camera cane exactly as ordered, so far it has recorded well and all the added “extras” have been beneficial. The case it came in was especially nice!

Great Little Camera
Limited use so far, but with the filming I have done the camera is performing nicely and does everything that is advertised for a fraction of the cost of similar cameras I was reviewing at my local big box retailer. Having all of the accessories included make this a very good deal.

A great powerful camera for being so small.
What a great camera for being so small. The picture is clear and sound is crystal. It's comfortable to hold and the directions are easy to follow. We had to record a speaker who spoke softly and it picked up every word. For the price you can't go wrong.
