It says lifetime warranty, if a mandrel breaks will the company honor their warranty?

What kind of steel are the included rivnuts made out of?

I didn’t find any Mention of what kind of metal the set nuts made out of, on the packaging. From the look,  zink or some other  cheap alloy, probably plated. I’m Not using outside, So I don’t know about rusting  and corrosion. 
I haven’t pulled out the threads or stripped one yet. just be aware depending on what you are inserted in the set nut in, the amount of give in the material. I’ve cracked one  piece of gear by the whole not being slightly large enough, even though I used there suggested drill size differences of give in a soft wood vs metal. Also the throw/pull the n this tool is large the handles spread  180° opposing each other.  Ratcheting would help with treaded nut setting. 
 Wish it came with m3 &m4 dies,  But it never said it did.
There are plenty of after market, threaded inserts in various different metals including stainless steel. On amazon 
For the price it was a good by for me but got expensive when I had to add several other dies and set nuts. Although I never found a set that had everything I wanted.  
Hope this helps. Non paid, & a regular customer; bought and I use this on the job. To replace strange metric treading that I cannot get any hardware for or even match it at my local Specialty nuts and bolts store.

How's it working so far for you?

It cuts slots for biscuits, that's about the best I can say for it. None of the gauges are accurate, not even the mark in the center( at least an 1/8-1/4" off). The height gauge is adjustable, meaning for the thickness of the board, but I adjusted it as far as it would go and still it is off, so I just use practice boards and a ruler to center slot. And my last complaint is that for the 0 biscuits it does not cut deep enough, has adjustment for that as well but it didn't seem to help much so I just made the slot wider. Seriously thought about checking with Amazon about returning, but I won't use it enough to spend the extra $100 for something that should be more accurate, and while it is very annoying, if you take a little extra time and patience it does the job.
