I purchased this for a new student in my class from the Ukraine. She loved it!

I have bought from this seller before. There is a reason for that. This seller is good and should be used by all.

I don’t like illustrations in that book, weird clip art looking ones, some distorted. Text is probably ok a bit adopted for little kids.

This is another one with gorgeous illustrations, so just for the illustrations I already liked having it and of course, again it gave me an opportunity to improve my understanding of the Russian language.

Unfortunately the text both in English and Russian left me disappointed. Both versions lack subtlety of the original story, the language used is strong and harsh; the use of phrase 'I will kill you' is far from desirable as I bought the book for my little one who is only 2 and a half. The illustrations are computer generated and not to everyone's taste. The warmth and charm of this fairy tale which I remember from my childhood is not coming through in this book.
