Classic rice sprinkles!
This product has not changed since I grew up in Japan. It's "the" go to for many kids in Japan to sprinkle over rice and while there are many brands out there, the Noritama is classic and doesn't have a weird taste like some of the ones that come in those small clear bottle. My kids love them and while there's a 3-4 week delivery at least I know it's coming from Japan (order in bulk!).It's basically to add some flavor with salty taste but the dried egg gives it a hint of sweetness. I remember eating so much rice with this sprinkled on top. Some people will use it on noodles and omelets as well. Whatever floats your boath!Expiration dates were all April 2019! Thanks again seller!

Nice Salty/Nutty Flavor
I bought 3 different flavors from this brand of Furikake, this Shio Plum version, a chicken version, and a beef version. The first two took forever to arrive, but I was happy to finally get them. I love this flavor the best so far! It adds a nice touch of salt to the flavor of rice, while adding a pleasant nutty flavor from the sesame seeds. I'll admit, I'd like to see more of the flowers, as they're adorable, but the flavor balance so far has been great!I'm going to attempt to find it stateside though, as it took the last ones forever to show up. I really wish this was available via Amazon where it didn't come directly from Japan. I'm not sure how long it will last me, and I fear I'll be wanting more soon!

Great way to add flavor to Rice!
Took a chance with this and a couple other flavors. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not, but this does the trick to spruce up a helping of rice for my little bento boxes! You only need a little bit, because it packs a punch for flavor. Glad of it too, as that means I'll get a lot of uses out of this tiny pack!I've tried it first in a bento, adding it first thing in the morning to the top of my rice and eating it at lunch, and have tried it right after adding to the rice. Personally, I think it's better if it has a chance to meld flavors with the rice and soak in. I didn't like it added right away. Probably would work great for onigiri as well!

Awful
I have to agree with Kitt3n Paws, this is my least favorite furikake. I'd go so far as to say it's awful, akin to dog food, and this is after trying two different batches, one in the big packet like this that was well within the future date on the package, and is also one of the five types in small packets in this assortment which has 4 other flavors that I like. But obviously many others like it, so perhaps give it a try, but I'd go for the variety pack I linked to, you have a better chance of liking some of the other flavors if this one is a bust for you.

I love furikake. I just did not give a 5 ...
I love furikake. I just did not give a 5 star because it was not fresh or crispy. But it does not mean that I'm criticizing. Because I eat everything and will continue to buy from the same seller.

The only brand for this kid!
Been eating this since I was a child and was upset when it stopped being sold here. I was ecstatic to find it on Amazon because no other brand is as flavorful without the heavy salt. I will buy multiple bags for myself and to send to my family. Great price and fast shipping is a bonus!

Too Much Sesame, Not Enough Plum
I was really excited about the plum (ume), but to me it just takes like sesame. Yes, I knew it had sesame, but the flavor is overwhelming. If you like sesame seeds, you will like this.

A hit
This was my first time trying furikake. must say it's delicious and fun to eat sprinkled on our favorite dishes. Even my daughter who is the Queen of picky eaters enjoyed it. The seasoning appears to have what looks like small bacon bits and egg. and it has a slightly sweet taste
