Maui JimMen's and Women's Stingray Polarized Wrap Sunglasses

Not to dark, not to light, just right. I wear there in full Hawaiian sun on the boat and average days in the car. Crystal clear lens keeping the world looking more sharp than my naked eye.

I have never spent this much money on a pair of sunglasses before, usually content with the $10 variety but I decided that my eyes were worth the splurge and I'm so glad I did! These fit me extremely well and they are very comfortable. I was worried that the glass lenses would make them feel too heavy but I haven't found that to be the case at all. Everything appears crystal clear through the lenses and it was like seeing clearly for the first time! As an added bonus, the hard case that came with them is wonderful and a great place to keep them protected when I'm not wearing them. I'm looking forward to enjoying these sunglasses for many years to come, unlike the cheap ones that I replace yearly, if not more often, If you are at all on the fence about these sunglasses I recommend you give them a try, you won't be sorry!

This pair of Maui Jim sunglasses arrived June 10, as stated they would by the seller. They are an exceptionally fine pair of glasses: perfect facial fit, outstanding quality lens glass, and very, very comfortable to wear. They are also well-built and a good-looking pair of shades. Not cheap, but quality commands higher dollars. I recommend these Stingrays and Maui Jim to anyone who wants a great pair of sunglasses. You can;t go wrong with Maui Jim products.

My search for a new pair of sunglasses commenced after I accidentally crushed a pair of Revos which I had for a number of years. You may recall...the Revos made of GLASS which produced stunning results and ultra sharp detail. Unfortunately, Revo has apparently undergone a series of unfortunate changes in production (fewer Italian/French frames, more Chinese for example) since being acquired by an Italian conglomerate (Luxottica) a number of years ago. After contacting Revo about repair or replacement, I was given the option of 25% off my next purchase...(nice since I paid several hundred dollars for the original pair) but none of their newer designs appeared to even approach the old build quality and design of my original Revos. I am pleased to say that Maui Jim has answered the call. The frames are strong and the visual acuity from the HCL Bronze glass is outstanding. In addition, I understand the customer service is also first rate should repair be needed. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased my 3rd pair of Maui Jim’s. Love how they fit and the clarity of the lens, especially when driving.Very disappointed in Maui Jim’s decision to downgrade from the quality protective case to the cheap cardboard “sunglass case” that was sent. The previous pairs I have purchased both came with very solid cases. The first pair came with a hard case that had strong hinges that snapped closed and kept my sunglasses safe and I never worried about it coming open on its on and my sunglasses being damaged. My second pair came with a case that had zipper closure with a latching hook at one end. I was able to attach the case for easy access. Great case that made it easy to grab my sunglasses from my bag or off a belt loop always providing a safe place to keep my sunglasses whenever I took them off. That sunglass case was even shown in a photo on the Maui Jim website when I was scrolling through the photos and specifications for the Stingrays I purchased from their website. I thought my sunglasses would be shipped inside that case as the previous pair.I was happy when my sunglasses arrived but very disappointed in the folded cardboard“case” that came with them.I don’t feel confident at all tossing it into my bag as I was accustomed to doing with the two previous cases that my Maui Jim’s arrived in. Cutting corners over there?? Why not just tack on an extra $10 to the purchase price and keep your customers happy and our purchases better protected?

The media could not be loaded. Color and Polarization is perfect . I have an update for these classes as I’ve had them for less than a year and a half I went to put them on this morning from the little storage pocket that I have in my vehicle and I thought that was a reflection coming off the backside but it was actually a crack that went from the top of the lens on the right side all the way down the bottom straight through my field of vision they haven’t been dropped. these are supposed to be pretty much unbreakable and shatter resistant.

I have been looking to buy these sunglasses for almost 9 months. I know protecting my eyes is important but spending over $225 on a pair of sunglasses was just not justifiable in my book. When I received them as a gift, I freaked out and refused to accept them. That is when we looked on Amazon and found them for $60 cheaper, I insisted that we return the other and purchase these. My husband was afraid they would be lower in quality which could not have been further from the truth. They were the exact same for less money. I am happy because they look great and help protect my eyes and my husband is happy because we saved money. Great buy!

One of the screws came out of the hinge between the temple and endpiece and cannot be reinserted into the frame. The $270 sunglasses are now useless. Never buy again.
