I agreed to show a short video of engagement photos of a bride and groom just prior to their wedding ceremony. So a week before the wedding I visited the little chapel in the forest with the bride to be to inspect the facility and I brought a thumb drive of the video containing various formats and resolutions of the video to make sure I had one that would play on their system. Turns out they had an older style projector hanging in the beams of the chapel with RCA connectors feeding an HDMI converter. So I purchased this 3.5mm to RCA Y connector to attach my computer to their projector and other than the low resolution of the projector, it all worked fine. The construction of the connector appears to be commercial in quality rather than the thin rubber wires typically used in these adapters. It worked very well and I believe it will last a lifetime.

I was trying to use two unpowered Bose speakers to boost sound from my notebook PC. The PCs internal speakers still sound better. I needed powered speakers instead of this product but this is definitely a good quality product so I’m keeping it.

This is my second Morelec purchase, the first being a nice quality set of speaker cables. With this Y adapter, Morelec continues their offering of a quality cable at a price that makes sense. I’ve had cables costing far more until finally questioning the need for anything more than a well made cable. With products like those available from Morelec, I am further convinced that boutique cables are expensive snake oil and a cable at this quality and price is entirely all I need.

Gets the audio from my projector to my receiver!

Work fine for the project that I bought it for...I have no complaints about it.

I used to connect a turntable to the Bose speaker aux, worked great.

It looks very well made. I bought this to see if it would allow my Bose speakers to work with my PC. Well, I did not think it through enough. I did get some sound but this dummy didn't realize you need the power to drive the speakers. I will use the splitter for something else so it will not be put away and forgotten. I like the quality of the splitter it looks to be well made.

I used this to run a turntable to a small set of speakers through the aux port and it worked great.
