I use these books for anxiety. This book is so pretty and the pictures are easy to color.

This book is so cute! I also purchased the Butterfly Mandala book by them twice because it's so cute and fun! Perfect amount of detail as well. I love these books!

The media could not be loaded. This coloring book is a lovely set of 30 mandalas made up of very pretty flowers. It is one of the newer books in the “Coloring is Fun” series by Thaneeya McArdle. The designs are really lovely and should be fun to color. Most of the designs are in the traditional round shape, are centered in the middle of the page and have a lot of blank white space surrounding them. Some of the designs are fairly open and easy to color and a few have some intricate details but I don't think I will need my magnifying lamp for these designs.In addition to the designs, the artist has included lessons in drawing, patterning, color techniques and media (including shading) as well as basic color theory at the front of the book, along with some great color examples (some of which I will show in my attached photos.) The lessons are generic to the line but the samples are specific to this book.The pages are white and are perforated for easy removal. The designs are printed on one side only with inspirational quotes on the back. The quotes have references to flowers which, as a home gardener, mean a lot to me and are very touching and motivating. Below the quotes are lines which the colorist can use to journal their own thoughts and feelings.All of my markers and gel pens wick through these pages. If I use either of them, I will put a piece of thicker paper or freezer paper under the page I am working on to keep the following page from getting ink on it.

I have enjoyed coloring in this book. In fact, I loved it so much, I ended up buying 1 for my daughter (she kept trying to steal mine). My second copy, I want to try medias I don't normally use. IMHO, these are the PROS and CONS of this book. I use alcohol markers so my review is based on using those over water-based or colored pencils.PROS:- Single-sided pages- Nice, thick black outlines- Good selection of various imagesNeither PRO or CON really:- Medium thickness of paper (alcohol markers bleed like CRAZY)CONS:- Tight binding, it's extremely hard to keep open to color in, this I can fix by having it spiral bound at my local office store- Does seem a bit expensive compared to other books of comparable # of pages; but the lovely flower designs does make up for thatAs always, YMMV as we are all looking for something different!

I spend far too much money on coloring books. I've been through many variations of mandala coloring books going back several years. Now that 'adult coloring books' are so 'in', there are many more to choose from. This one is .. by far .. my favorite. I guess I like the symmetry of the mandala pattern and the whimsy of the flowers? I'm fairly certain once I've finished every single page, I'll buy another copy and start all over again. The page and pattern size are perfect for me. I don't like books that have teeny tiny patters that you would need a magnifier to even see where the line boundaries are. I also don't like the kind of books that have giant images that have barely any structure. This is a nice balance. Images are only on the right page, leaving the left page blank. No worries about bleed-through, etc. If you are the type that presses very hard, you may want to put a blank sheet of paper behind the image you're working on to keep from having any transfer .. but since the back is blank, that's not too big a deal. Very happy with this product.

Great paper and only one side. Paper makes difference in beauty of pictures. Doesn't tear. Love patterns

I really love this book! I enjoy coloring mandalas and this one incorporates flowers into every page! The images are not so detailed that it takes a lot of time and extra concentration to color. This book is printed on good quality paper and the pages are perforated fir easy removal.

Really nice book with plenty of beautiful designs.

I've ordered at least a dozen colouring books and this one is the best one by far! Beautiful images, clearly printed, and no repeats or even similar pictures. The first few instructional pages are very good as well, and there are also mini coloured examples for guidance. I will be ordering several more copies of this book for my mother and her friends who are in a retirement residence. Big hit with them as well! You will not be disappointed!
