Solid enough for my needs
Using with my PS5 to exercise. Works just find. Did need an additional adapter AUX to USB because my television didn't have a simple audio aux plug. But proceeded to connect them to my everyday Raycons without issue. Have used them three times and still no problem. The audio won't be controlled with the device, which is across the room when I use it anyway. But I can control audio with the earbuds. Sound quality is good enough and very occasionally spots out for a half a second. But it's not frequent or intrusive. And it might be the earbuds. I'm happy and the price is good.

Compact, fair battery life
For the sources I connect to this, there is no volume control needed. Volume is controlled via the connected source. Not a big deal for me, I am sitting right at the source, so volume control is at my fingertips.I get the sound I expect from this device. I receive the Bluetooth with my hearing aids, and what comes out of this transmitter is what I get from anything connected in this way.As with another device like this, I do have to be careful not to walk out of range of the transmitter. If I do, the Bluetooth is disconnected and the connection is forgotten by the device. Not a problem for me. If I get up to walk out of range, I just unplug the device from the source and carry it with me. When I come back to the source, I plug the device back in. Easy workaround. Also, I have discovered how to re-connect the Bluetooth easily if the connection information is lost, so I do not worry anymore if I do something to break the connection.Another such device has a battery life that almost works for the longer sessions I am listening. That is one reason I got this device. If the other device goes dead, I unplug it, put it on charge, and plug in this device. AT LEAST twice the battery life. I do not know the actual battery life of this unit because it is my secondary device. If I run out of battery on both devices, I have been listening too long!!I used to have an old DC plug-in transmitter for my TV. Unfortunately, I need a device for the TV and for a laptop which does not have a great Bluetooth connection with my hearing aids. I really like the battery operation, because I can (and do) swap a single unit between TV and laptop without issue. One Bluetooth connection, regardless of the number of sources.A difference between this and my other such unit is, this one has 2 AUX ports, one for transmit, one for receive. It also, weirdly, has a switch for TX and RX. Not sure why both (switch AND ports), but not an issue for me. My only reason for having these devices is as transmitters. I have never used any such device as a receiver, or needed to.

Noise Distortion of Audio
This product, although it did connect easily enough to multiple Bluetooth devices (which was nice), came with a terrible distortion of the Audio. There was both crackling of the audio output with buzzing noise constantly present. This is was likely due to poor assembly, of the unit itself, as I tested the provided 3.5mm cables (as well as a higher quality cable - purchased separately), with alternative devices for both input and output functionality, and the issue was only present on this device. I also tried several different USB cables just in case.My guess is that the issue was in the 3.5mm Audio Jack (Female) on the receiver/transmitter itself, which was either poorly manufactured and not making a good connection, or was poorly soldered in the wiring. This unfortunately made all other aspects of the product moot points. With an item such as this at such a low cost, I was not expecting the greatest results, but I did not expect the simplest of aspects to be of such poor quality. This may have been due to a bad batch of components, a novice assembler, but it clearly did not receive sufficient QC testing even at a low level.Could it have been damaged in transit? Yes, but the unit was not damaged, it was extremely light, and if the soldering came loose in transit, than the soldering job was sub standard.I could have requested a replacement, it could have been a bad unit that slipped through sub-assembly, but this is literally the simplest part of the product for both assemble and testing. If you are looking for a very cheap alternative to more expensive comparable products, you can give it a try, but I would not expect much here. If you do try it and receive a unit that does not have the same issues I had upon arrival, I feel it is safe to assume the products longevity would be very limited, and failure would be more likely than not to occur especially if you are plugging and unplugging the unit into different devices.Rated a 2-star because Bluetooth connected seamlessly, which was the only plus I can provide it.PASS on this item unless the Manufacturing can resolve such a basic issue.
