Comfortable and warm but a little bulky
I go on one backpacking trip a year and I spend a few weeks every winter sleeping in my car for ski season so I know a little bit about camping pads. I am replacing an original thermarest classic I got from my parents when I was in middle school, those things last forever. I wanted a little more comfort so I got this one because it is cheaper than the neo xlite but has a nice trade off of weight and warmth. I love how comfortable it is and how easy it is to use the valve. The fabric is pretty slippery so I wonder if I will have issues sliding off of it but it is very quiet. It does seem pretty durable and I think it will be easy to clean. The pad when stored is a little bulkier than I thought it would be and can be hard to roll up really compactly but I will probably get better at that with practice. The stuff sack has compression straps but they don't really make it that much smaller. I knew what I was getting though so that doesn't knock a star off for me. I may update this review after car camping on it for the winter, but so far I am happy with it and excited for some winter camping.

Durable Sleep Pad for Hiking
One of the challenges of hiking is the ability to get a good night's rest. A great sleeping air pad is essential however generally the more comfortable it is, the larger it is. The prolite was a great balance between size and comfort. However what I like most is that it is durable. I've had sleeping pads that only last a few hikes, however the prolite has lasted 30 nights already for me and doesn't appear to be wearing.

The Goldilocks of sleep pads
I’ve had several Thermorest pads over the years from the original orange ones 30 years ago to the thick “grandpa” pads . Well, this one is my favorite . Terrific compromise of comfort , compactability, warmth and weight. The rounded corners eliminate the wasted real estate that you are never going to sleep on anyway, the gently sloped edges are more comfortable if your arm is resting across it, the new one way valve system is so good.

Moderate pack size but plenty comfy.
Haven’t used it on the trail yet but it’s plenty thick and seems durable. Came in a nice heavy case and should tie down nicely outside of my pack.

Plus size side sleeper - Works for me!
I am 5' 7", 275 lbs, and a side sleeper. This sleeping pad works great. Comfortable enough and just wide enough that I don't feel like I am falling off the edges, even if I'm on my back reading before going to sleep. I wouldn't choose to use it for car camping, since I have the space for a larger, thicker pad in those instances, but when I need to travel light for canoe camping or wilderness trips, this fits the bill.My only complaint is that the valve is not as "one way" as I would like. When I'm trying to get all of the air out of the sleeping pad to roll it up, I can hear and see air coming back into the mat as I'm trying to press air out of it, even thought the twist lock valve is set to deflate.

Lite and comfy
Easy to set up. Comfy. A bit of an effort to get it all stowed away. Doesn’t include a repair kit, but I don’t think those are standard. Paired with a traditional closed cell pad and you are living large, Buckaroo.

Bubbled up, unusable after one month of use.
It was easy to inflate but one morning the head area inflated to a giant bubble and makes it unusable.

comfortable
I think the extra weight is worth it for the extra width and R-value compared to the alternatives. I can't wait to use it on the trail this weekend.
