Easy to setup and use
I had an 8 year old dolphin that I used. With that said take care and clean them and they do last and are well worth investment. My old one you needed to turn upside down remove bag and pull off cloth bag to clean. Was easy but messy and was not really a good design took to many steps and cleaning was really a chore now that I have this new one! New design just push a button and run to clean. Much lighter unit and best thing is large capacity debris unit. No turning over unit just snap open debris basket pull out and drop bottom of basket and flush debris away. Too simple not complicated then reinstall. Way easier than previous dolphin unit. I would definitely recommend this for its ease of use and setup. Again take care of unit and it will serve you and your pool many years!

13 months and running strong
The media could not be loaded. It is picking up a lot from the pool. Even small dirt when I use the super fine filter, which I think is a must. Today sent her to work harder because of the gale wind and without the screen pool that is been replaced it was a massacre in the pool. It did a great job but the wind still sending more leaves. No complain. I hope it last. I clean it thoroughly after each run and store inside* update July 2024... it has been 7 months and still is running strong. It already paid by itself as I fired the pool guy before getting it. With the super fine filter it really helps me to keep algae out of the pool, leaves, sand from the pavers, and whatever fall in the pool. I'm actually cleaning now the pool filter every 3 weeks instead of weekly and the pool is sparkling clean. I ran out once or twice daily in the pool. Very happy with the purchase. *** update 1/26/2025 still running strong! Since I fired the pool guy when I purchased it more than a year ago, it had long ago paid by itself. Now I leave her in the pool everyday never remove it, I only use the micro filter and clean it now every month. I turn it on everyday, it's starting to show a bit of decoloration from the pool chlorine but I have never had an issue. I clean my pool filter now every month or so.Happy customer here.

Fix for cord curling up
Ok so when I bought this there were several negative reviews about the cord curling up and not allowing the cleaner to reach its full distance potential in pool. As others mine worked good for a little while then it curled and did the same. The reason for this is the copper wiring inside the cord once it curls and reforms the copper wiring it WILL NOT straighten out.I tried a few things to fix, pool noodles, flecks hose etc. the ultimate fix I found is a water hose taped to power cord in cleaner. As in my pics you can see how I assembled it with the hose also adding 12” pieces of floating noodle foam every 4’. Water hose will not float fyi. I’ve had this design going for about 4 weeks now with absolutely zero issues. Finally fixed.

Find Another Pool Robot!
The media could not be loaded. To say that I was sorely disappointed in this pool cleaner is a massive understatement. I purchased this “2025” model thinking it would be a nice latest dolphin pool cleaner model, after trying out the Nautilus CC Pro with WiFi which died after one use. This model actually costs more, yet has ZERO app connectivity like the nautilus did. This model is a complete rip off, and has actually increased in cost since I purchased it.You’re paying more money for a micro filter and allegedly having a better scrub brush on the front, and being more energy efficient. Here’s how it actually panned out for me:- it constantly does wheelies across the pool (see video). This happened at least 50% of the time and always when it moves forward rendering the scrubbing brush useless. It also doesn’t pick up debris like this. Meaning your clean time is cut down in half as it runs on a timer.- constantly falls off the walls. This thing constantly falls and gets stuck in my curvy pool. It causes the unit to sometimes damage itself falling because it’s so bad- due to the above, it rarely ever cleans the water line tiles. It just can’t keep itself on the walls.- couldn’t climb stairs at all. While it doesn’t say it will, cheaper models from other brands have done this successfully in my pool.- zero app connectivity, even for a more expensive 2025 model. So despite its issues not cleaning well, you can’t even run it again without manually pressing the power station button.- the power station has several other buttons/options on it which are all not available on this unit. All you can set is a schedule to have it clean every one 1/2/3 days. That’s it. Literally zero other options, and useless buttons on the module.- when taking it out of the pool, the cleaner dropped nearly half of what it collected back in the pool! I couldn’t believe it. The filter basket wasn’t even close to being full, yet dumped the debris all right back in my pool.Even Dolphin’s own customer service was confused by the cost and lack of features, and admitted the naming conventions of their robots are very confusing. When they couldn’t resolve the wheelies, they resort to saying my pool chemicals are causing the issue. Get out of here! Other cleaners (including the nautilus) don’t do that! I also have an experienced pool maintenance person that comes by weekly testing the water and regulating it. They also said the same power station is used by several dolphin cleaners, and those “extra” buttons on the cayman were useless as it doesn’t include those functions. So again, more money, less features, less effective, 2025 model….I honestly was so disappointed by this thing and am trying to help those of you looking for a pool robot cleaner. It’s a lot of money, and this one isn’t it! They also try to hit you with fees when trying to return. It’s a nightmare.I also made the mistake of watching YouTube review by the “pool nerd” who is 100% biased towards Dolphin products. They’re all the best thing ever with his only “negative” comments being that one model has more features over another. And all other brands he reviews are trash. Yeah right. And don’t believe that you need to have a cord for more power. The GPH is the truth in that, and I currently have a wireless battery powered unit that cost way less than this and is far more powerful.

climbs walls and scrubs tile line; does NOT leave marks on concrete
This vacuum DOES climb the walls. When it reaches the tile line, it keeps trying to crawl upwards for a few seconds while it's figuring out that it reached the coping, so it has the positive effect of scrubbing the tiles while it's there. It does sometimes have some difficulty climbing the steep incline from the deep to shallow end (our pool is a lot steeper than normal due to a construction issue), but ultimately figures it out and gets there. It does NOT leave any marks (and that was my biggest concern since we just replastered with white plaster). It will climb one of the four steps exiting the pool (won't go higher), but oddly enough, it climbs onto the bench in the deep end. We're really pleased with this vacuum!
