Nice quality, useful for someone who uses these types of measurements regularly.

To Start, I am the guy who has a pocket ref in my laptop bag. I bought this tool to go into my Field Notes wallet. It appears well made and amazingly enough it doesn't have a bottle opener (I was beginning to believe it was a law to have a bottle opener on any small bit of metal for sale). The finish is uniform, the print is legible and, there are no burs or other manufacturing defects. I would not recommend it for back pocket wallet use as the metal is thin and would deform. The only negative I have about the pocket scientist is they could have made their logo smaller and the periodic table bigger. I have to use my bifocals to read the periodic table (don't get old. It's a trick).I would recommend this to anyone who likes to have some basic scientific data on hand and small ruler as long as they don't intend to sit on it.

Oh.my.gosh. I bought this for my 18 yr old son for his graduation from high school along with his first two years of college. I thought this might be a fun tool for him as he’s an engineering student. He opened it today. And it’s a HUGE hit. The tool itself is amazing, but the letter and information from the designers, and the QR code, are wonderful additions to this product. This was worth every single penny. Every one in his engineering classes are going to be jealous when he pulls this thing out of his wallet. 😁

Just opened the package and I am truly impressed with the quality of this item. Most people probably wouldn't mind this at all but since I'm a chemist I was a bit disappointed to see a typo in the periodic table; #117 Tennessine should be "Ts" not "Ys". Other than that this item is perfect and I would still highly recommend others to buy this.

... to appreciate this item. At first glance, it's the ultimate in science nerd gear and an interesting conversation piece. But it's more than that. It's a well-made item and I find the measuring scales to be accurate and useful. The physics formulas and constants are handy if you don't have them memorized. I find the periodic table to be useful when I come across a reference to a more obscure element (I have trouble recalling the location of the elements beyond number 40). I think this item will make a delightful gift for anyone who successfully completes (survives) a course in physics, chemistry,or engineering.

I've been carrying the wallet scale for a couple days now. It is very cleanly done and well made. I purchased it to have a usable, durable, and non gimmicky scale always on me. Almost every other product I have seen has a cheesy bottle opener and knife edge etc. that I am not interested in, and I find the equations much more useful. Time will tell how it wears. Great product for the price.
