I had to send this back because I need to mount on a vertical surface, but wanted to offer some clarity on what it includes. The angled silicon shims are included for adjustment of view. The camera has the slimline connector on the camera but has a short adapter section that adapts the slimline to regular RCA connection and then it has a really long section that goes from the adapter to your head unit or monitor, so if you want to replace an existing camera with RCA connection you can definitely use this. However, it must be a mounted in a hanging position. The included items were very well thought out, in my opinion, and even included black electrical tape to better waterproof the connections, etc, which I thought was a nice touch. I really wish this were adaptable to a vertical mounting position, but I can't use it for my application.

Not as accurate angle lines a bit high up. They don’t really turn as you with accuracy. They tend to be off by seconds of a delay. Yet do gives you a more updated version of a backup camera, as far as having one. Yet must say picture is clearly visible. Camera is quality made. Easy install doesn’t take a skill professional. If you can insta a stereo, rear tailgate trailer wiring, you can surly do this installation.

First, I have to say that the build quality of this device appears rock solid. There is a bit of heft to it compared to other back up cameras I own. Also, it has a subdued profile so it doesn't stick out like other cameras.I really wanted this camera to work with my dashcam. It will not send the right signal to any one of my four dashcams' rear camera/AV input. My dashcams came with rear cameras, so I know the input works. I liked the small profile of this "universal" camera, so I was looking forward to swapping the existing rearview cameras with this GreenYi camera. "Universal" is a mislabeling it does not deserve, because I certainly know that it is not universally compatible. I went to great lengths to get it to work. I have tried many different adapters and have even tried testing for the video signal and changing the pinouts using special adapters knowing that some manufacturers use different pin assignments than others. In the end, I concluded that the signal is not compatible with my dashcams. Perhaps it uses an analog signal and the newer dashcams require a digital signal. This was a waste of a lot of my personal time invested in trying to make it work. Hopefully, it will work for your setup, and if so, that is fantastic. I only wish it worked for me.

replaced my head unit for an android unit, stock camera worked fine with it, but I wanted HD and "dynamic lines" since my new head unit has a 10" screen and AHD capability......wired to head unit (as required) and got nothing in reverse. yep,...I played with the display settings in the head unit as well. nothing. I had another after market HD camera (w/o the dynamic lines) so I wired it up and it worked fine. I suspect the unit I received is faulty so sending it back for replacement. hopefully the replacement works...

I’ve honestly had like three different cameras, all them have either broken or stopped working. This one seems to be working really well. I love that it has the lines that move, and when you turn the wheel, actually, the car, the lines move with it, which actually seems like it’s real. It’s a great product and I highly suggest it out of all the ones out there.

Picture quality is good. The guide lines use image motion tracking to move where you are going. It takes several frames to figure out if you stopped turning or not. They are a good guide. Don't 100% rely on them. You'll get used to where your bumper is and know not to let the bumper contact anything. Lol.The company was willing to help me out when I was having problems. They own and believe in their product and I appreciate them for the help.

Worked well and lines move when you turn which is amazing for this cheap. A little delayed in line movement but can't complain for under 40 bucks. Over all happy
