Star Trek The Official Starships Collection | Future U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D (All Good Things) XL Edition by Eaglemoss Hero Collector

First, this XL Enterprise-D “All Good Things” refit has some weight to it. With exception to the upper saucer above the phaser strip being plastic, the outer ring of the upper saucer including the bottom saucer is metal. The rest of the ship is plastic. Second, the detail is impressive and the paint is not displaced from the physical moldings which are meant to be so colored. There is some very nice red pinstriping on all three nacelles which really sets the ship off. Also present is an aztec paint scheme which would be difficult to authenticate the accuracy of. My ship did have some paint chipping on the saucer’s upper starboard antenna/weapon; the only blemish I could find. There is a slight fitting problem with the saucer’s belly cannon which the curvatures are not flush allowing the connection posts to be seen and light to pass between—easily forgotten unless one chooses to harp on it. Finally, the display stand locks around the sides of the secondary hull and the saucer at the aft separation plane with the dorsal; no, the ship itself does not separate. The display stand anchors into the aft side of the display base allowing for the saucer-heavy ship to balance. An accurate and elegant recreation of the alternate future Enterprise-D from the final episode of Star Trek the Next Generation.

I bought this ship from the very last episode of Star Trek The Next Generation series as a 60th birthday gift for myself. It is one of my all time favorite ships and makes a great addition to my (now defunct) Eagle Moss Star Trek ship collection.The ship arrived on time and in perfect condition. I have been buying eaglemoss Star Trek models now for a while; and have amassed quite a collection. The XL versions of the ships are very detailed and nice to look at, definitely worth the money

Nice model excellent detail

I bought two starships for my son's birthday, and the seller did not disappoint! My kid loves them.It seems to be made of metal and plastic, though you will have to 'knock' to know which parts are plastic.The only thing i did not like is the starship stand, which seemed flimsy compared to the weight of the starships.Overall, satisfied buyer here!

This is the XL edition for them model. There are lots of detail that make the model look nice. Such as the paintjob on the ship is better than it is on most XL models. The detail of the extra weapons such as the phaser lance and turrets are clearly visible. There is even a little plastic peace at the end of the lance rather than cheep paint. The warp engines were the only other part to get the plastic treatment. The impulse engines and deflector are painted on being. This is an Xl model, it puzzles to me to why they were painted on. The additional sections from the model become a standard galaxy to a galaxy x have clear separation . It looks like they just took the normal galaxy xl and glued the pieces on rather than taking the time to sculped a new model. There is no detail on the foreword photon launcher, not even the ships registry number appears near the launcher as it does in show . The stand is really bad. The stand does not want to stay together with the stands base. I ended up using crazy glue just keep it from falling apart . The magazine is very much filler. Little to no information on the ship and it redesign. The magazine focus way to much on the story of the final TNG episode all good things. Final the price I paid. I bought this on sale and with a coupon. I do not recommend paying full price for this model. If you really want this model I wait till it is on sale

Haha. It’s a nice ship model. It arrived package in moulded styrofoam in a Star Trek box. Secure and undamaged. Beautiful model fair sized.

I have been a keen Collector of Eaglemoss standard and, particularly, Star Trek XL models. This XL model is one of the last models I needed to complete the Enterprise set. Everything about it is just looks good and in every way a fantastic representation of the original... The model came well packaged and the delivery before the specified date. All in all - to a Collector like myself, a very good purchase. Thank you... 👍
