Q: Has anyone used to prevent before getting lice or only after?

We used mostly after. We actually use peppermint oil for prevention.

Q: Can this be used on toddlers? 3 year old.

Yes, it is safe. I bought it for my 4 year old who was starting school and used it the entire year. There was a lice outbreak in her classroom and she never caught it. It does have a strong citronella scent.

Q: Can you use this on dogs

Dogs normally can’t get lice.It’s a human mite, dogs can get fleas but this isn’t for fleas. I wouldn’t recommend this for pets. Humans only.
