I have done extension research on which nail products is the best for newborns because I am very cautious and aware of how the newborn's nails can be very long and without trimming them, they can scratch themselves easily. And I know most newborn clothing has gloves that can cover their little hands but honestly who would want to have their hands be covered for a long time, especially when my baby will be coming this summer.So, with that being said, I looked and looked and I heard a lot of good things about this product. When I opened the package, it seems very well-made and I was delighted to see how simple and organized the product is to instruct the user which age to what for using, even for adults!I plan to use this product for a long time so this is hopefully a good investment. Recommend!

I have a 2 month old who recently discovered how fun it is to scratch her face. As a new mom, I was worried to use nail clippers on her tiny nails- and discovered how much of a life saver (and face saver) an electronic nail file could be. This was definitely a game changer and allowed us to maintain her little nails-stress free. It has a compact design, that’s easy to use and comfortable for both mom and baby. I highly recommend this product!

I use this with my two month old - before this I was using baby nail clippers, which worked great before as she used to hold her hands still during feeds, but recently she started fidgeting her hands regularly, even during feeds and especially if I touch them during feeds, so I became very afraid of accidentally nicking her. This electric nail trimmer is basically injury proof, so it's ok if she flails around. She doesn't seem to mind the sensation. Also the case it comes in is cute and convenient.

It’s alright. It does the job but only if you do it VERY softly and with little to no pressure to actually trim the nails without it constantly stopping. It’s a nice feature that it stops but it stops with just the littlest amount of pressure which prolongs trimming the nails leading to an impatient toddler. The mom cozy one is much better.UPDATE: I bumped it to 4 stars because the customer service was phenomenal and absolutely thoughtful! They issued me a full refund and gave me a free item, they deserve the 4 stars for their complete courtesy and politeness. Thank you so, so much :)

This nail file is so easy to use and is so calming for baby! I trimmed my baby's nails with a clipper and when I caught his skin a couple times I decided to look for an electric file. The quality of this file is amazing! It's the perfect size to comfortably hold and move around little fingers. It works perfectly and even stops when there is too much pressure against the file so it doesn't hurt the skin. It's also very quiet and painless so it does not bother my baby at all.

I love this product. It is the only way I am able to trim my new borns nails! What a life saver.

Love these nail trimmers, they work really well and are so gentle with the babies. I’ve bought a couple of these now because after about a year the little motor gets tired, even with new batteries. Would recommend though.

Had higher hopes as I love Haaka products, but this was, not difficult to use- I mean it’s a nail file, but not easy to use with baby. Difficult to do while baby is on your lap so you’d need another person if your baby hates their nails getting done… the light was not helpful, not bright enough to try in the dark when baby is sleeping. Also clunky. I wish I saved the packaging to return it.
