Loved it.

I purchased this Mate ground with a very negative hear, thinking it's not a real Mate, but due to the lid, it might be best for office use. well, no regrets. This ground hold heat very well, keeping mate warm for a long time, so be mindful of the water temp cuz it's not going to cool down on its own. The lid is great, it's not 100% spill-proof due to the hole for the straw, but the seal is very secure and spillage would definitely be minimum.the comfort level is 10 of 10, whilst Mate and tea are hot, you hands are room temp, the shape and size make it comfortable and it holds enough mate so you don't have to keep refining constantly.

I purchased 3 different cups in this style from various companies, this was by far my favorite, simply because of the size. most other yerba mate cups on amazon seem to be very small. i liked this one.

Some of the mate leaves does get through or stuck in the straw as expected but not a lot. This cup is so beautiful; I love the size! It fits inside my car cup holders too!

Living in the humid Midwest, I was unable to get traditional gourds to properly dry and mold was a constant problem. This stainless steel gourd is perfect! No more mold issues. Keeps the mate warm and is a generous size so I’m not continually jumping up to refill it. Very easy to clean, and the lid is a nice bonus although I haven’t used it yet. I don’t care for the bombilla, hence the 4 stars. Doesn’t seem to work as well as the one I got years ago with the spring that you can easily clean. Overall, a great purchase!
