Great for beginners, but use it in partnership with any YouTube Guide.
I really wanted to up my handwriting game, heading into 2025 journal season. Got this as a beginners set, but found it best to use along side any of the countless YouTube videos on the Unical method of calligraphy out there. You need the video to really show you the basic strokes for the letters. Lovely pens.

Good equipment, terrible book
The pens and inks are great, and the lined workbook is helpful. The instructions are shockingly brief, though - just three very small pages of very basic information, very little on technique. The example lettering at the back doesn't even have a full alphabet of the upper case letters. If you buy this set you would do well to buy a separate instruction book too.
