First off, this says the seller is King Technology who is the manufacturer of Pool Frog products but was actually fulfilled by a company called bw, inc. The look of these was different in that the top is a green plastic rather than white, but the design appears to be consistent with the older ones and I'm pretty confident that they will work fine. Just a fluke, I'm sure, but I ordered the 12 pack, and when I opened the box (the tape sealing the box appeared to be original and intact), I discovered that there were two pacs missing. After an exchange with customer service with bw, they agreed to issue me a credit for the two missing pacs. I fully realize that basically, the only real proof I had was my word, and I very much appreciate that they believed me when I told them what had happened. I hope that having a loyal customer in the future will be reward enough for them. By the way, I do like the frog system, except I do have difficulty maintaining the proper chlorine level with it.

If you know what you are doing you can save on chlorine use by using these. Yes you can cut them and add your own tablets to the container. I did not do that. But they last a long time if your water is balanced.

Can't find a cheaper price on 12 pack anywhere.

I've been using these for a few years now. You either need them or you don't. They generally last one to three weeks each in my (in ground) pool, so they hit the mark in what is promised. One comment I read said they got the wrong ones (wanted in ground and these were for above ground). I'm not sure what that review was about because these cartridges apply to either as long as you have the right mineral reservoir. It is the mineral reservoir that is different between above and inground pools.

I did not receive the displayed product but the ones received were same fit and I got the same results. The price is also way cheaper than local pool stores for the bac pacs
