This was shown as a replacement for a Weems and Plath oil lamp I have. It is not even close to being the correct replacement. Size and shape are completely wrong! This was just flat out a total ruse. I thought I was purchasing a direct replacement from Weems and Plath, ...not so much. Sometimes even when you think you're being careful you can still get fooled! Clearly misrepresented as a direct replacement for a totally different product!

The exact size I had been looking for. Very pleased and excited. I had looked for several months on Amazon for the right one.

The description says 3.3 inch diameter at bottom. It was 2,5 inch. I returned with explanation and once again I received the 2.5 inch base.

The picture was missleading the product was too small ,I needed a replacement lamp for a old oil lamp, not a smaller version of it.On top of that It took two atempts to get the product unbroken alltogether I was not happy with my shopping experence on line.

This item is a glass shade for a hurricane lamp. Very thin glass. Who would think that shipping it in a brown envelope with a little bit of bubble wrap would be a good idea. No indication in the envelope that the contents were fragile. Having an other one sent, and if you use the same packaging it will probably arrive in several dozen parts.
