Quick read, good things to consider
Wish there had been a chapter that asked the interviewees what their business is and what they do. Other than that, I like the format.

I'm a Solopreneur
I love this book because it speaks directly to the heart of what I do and who I am. I'm so glad my friend Kelly McCausey recommended it to me.

Too shallow and disorderly
Don't bother, you already know everything you'll read in this book. You can not go wrong picking any other book

Great book!
This book is the equivalent of having 42 mentors who have traveled down the road of being a soloprenuer and have come back to share the do's and don't's! This book will shave years off your learning curve as a soloprenuer.

An American Solution to Earning a Living and Making a Life in these Economic Times
We are living in stressful economic times. And, with the unemployment rate reported to be 9.5% many people are giving up on their job search. Starting an individual or small business could be America's answer, to generating new wealth in this economy. This book is tells the insights and experiences of more than ten individuals who started their own solopreneur businesses, and are earning enough income to be economically viable. While reading the book I felt like I was eves-dropping on a group of successful solopreneurs, while they were sharing their stories of triumphs, and what they have learned along the way. If you are an individual who is curious about "what it takes" to turn your ideas into viable solopreneur businesses, you will be glad that you read this book. (And, I am certain that you will pass it along to other "wanna be" solopreneurs in the years to come.)

Encouragement at its Best
Encouragement is something we all need and appreciate. It can come in the form of new ideas, pitfalls to avoid, positive experiences of others, and honest critique. For the person venturing along as a solopreneur Larry's book offers all of these. The encouragement comes to you in the form of honest, thoughtful, and well organized thoughts from people who have been down the path you are pursuing in your solopreneur business venture. Feel like you are alone and can't afford a consultant right now. Here's a book that will provide you loads of advice and encouragement from a "panel" of 42 people who care enough to give you there very best thoughts.

You'll feel like you're among friends who are willing to tell you the truth
Imagine being out for a relaxed dinner with 42 solopreneurs willing to put their heart on their sleeves and candidly answer any of your questions about owning your own business. That's what this book felt like for me. What's nice is that if you're thinking about starting a solopreneurship, you'll gain insight; if you're already doing it, you'll hear yourself saying "that's how I feel!" which is always comforting, because yes, running your own business is hard. And in the case of Chapter 3 "What Is a Mistake You Made That You Have a Learned From?" (by far my favorite chapter) you might hear yourself saying "uh oh - that's what I'm doing now" and it will get your brain gears going. I enjoyed the book...a light, pleasant, easy read.

Deserves to be skipped!
Poor book. Just 100 odd pages, not at all worth the price. The author has just compiled the interviews with solopreneurs in a book format. No real insights. Deserves to be skipped!
