Q: Would this be good to cancel out noise from neighbors? Like loud talking and music etc

I used it on my garage ceiling to cancel out band practice noise from going upstairs into my living room. Before installing this foam I put 2 layer of 1/4 inche cork first. This foam is very thin depending where you installing it remember I already had sheetrock on the ceiling plus cork and foam and you can still hear the band practice. So for your purpose it might work just remember if you get this it comes vacuum sealed you have to open it and leave it out to expand for 24 hours before use good luck.
