This is a really sturdy flagpole and it’s much better than the aluminum one that we had before. It looks great on the post of our house. It was very easy to put together and really liked the feature that the flag can kind of spin around and not get tangled around the pole itself.

These are great, nice quality hardware! The poles themselves seem a little flimsy. Easy to assemble.

This is the best flagpoll I've had. I must be behind the times! lol I read in the reviews that some people still had an issue with the flag still twisting around the pole, but others said that it's because they have it on too tightly between the swivel mounts. They were right! I have just enough slack between the two connections, and the flag moves beautifully in the wind with no issues being tangled. I also love the black color. It looks nice with the American Flag, and also good with the color of my house, which is a greyish green.

Bought this less than a week ago, have only had it out for about 4 days. Initial impression about the “tangle free” 360 deg rotating clips, it sounded like a bunch of sand. Turns out it’s because the lowest quality bearing that could be used is what’s in there and apparently only enough bearings to make it look like someone tried with nearly 1/4 of the bearing race (unlubricated at that) being void of any bearings at all. This will fail quickly and already showing signs of rust…IN 4 DAYS! Hugely disappointed. Pure example of poor craftsmanship and deceptive product description.Edit/Update: I am increasing my rating for a few reasons.1. The store did offer me a full refund when I originally reviewed which demonstrated a commitment to their customer satisfaction policy. I did not accept the offered refund because I was using the pole and it would be awkward to leave an honest review while being refunded even though Amazon policy clearly states any refunds are not to influence changing of reviews, and to be clear, the seller absolutely did not indicate the refund they offered was contingent on my changing review. Honesty and commitment to their customer satisfaction policy +++++.2. It would appear the store has upgraded the swivel bearings to hard glass beads. This should reduce or eliminate the rust issue I observed shortly after using it. I disassembled the older swivels, added more bearings, cleaned and lubricated the bearings and races with silicon and it helped significantly. If the newer model has all glass bearings and they fill the bearing race, problem should be solved. Upgraded manufacturing/design/materials ++++3. I’ve been using this pole for a couple years now and despite some really high winds in the area a couple times while having the flag out, the pole is pretty stout. I wrapped the end of the pole in white electrical tape before inserting into the holder so the bird screws on the holder don’t completely marr and dent the finish of the pole. It makes for a much tighter fit and no clunking around in the holder. The holder is also stout as can be and haven’t had any issues at two houses now. The only thing I would ask to change if I could is for the holder to allow for the holder bird screws to be able to insert and screw down on both right OR left side to accommodate situations where the holder has to be mounted in such a way where the right side of the holder is against brick or a wall.

I live near Winslow, AZ....the land of the almost non stop gale force winds. Flags don't last long here and the ones that do will end up twisted and wrapped in knots around your flag pole. I had to go out every few days and untangle my flag from my previous pole. I can't believe someone didn't come up with this solution earlier. The tangle free rings really solve the issue and at this price point? You can't beat it! I would only like to make one suggestion to the manufacturer - you guys should offer an optional shorter pole that can be mounted in the horizontal position at the same time so a lesser stature flag can be flown below the American Flag. The finish is really nice. I'd recommend this pole to anyone looking for a replacement.

Great flag pole! The black goes nice with my porch rails. Very sturdy and easy to assemble.

The metal is sturdy. The pole is easy to put together. I appreciate the extra carbiners. The one fault is that the sections of the pole do not completely screw in, so the bottom of the pole can fall out when we take the flag down
