I wanted a last minute Halloween decoration and this fit the bill without being too expensive. The lights do not look like the picture showing all the lines of the web lit up. It has a string of lights along each radial web string only. The web itself is made of some very flimsy looking string, but it held up to a week of being hung outside.It is about 12ft in diameter, as advertised, at its longest point, but the lights are only about 9ft end to end. Came all wadded up in a very small package, so expect to do a lot of untangling work when you get it!

Looks pretty cool hanging on the ceiling. Pain in the butt to unwrap. Don't think it will last for years will update review when I take it down in November. This item is battery operated too not plug in. Batteries are nice and bright 2-3 days then very dim. You would have to change batteries weekly on this item. I leave it turned on for about 8 hrs a day. (3 AA batteries)

If I had realized how cheap this was, I would not have purchased. It absolutely won’t last more than 3 Halloweens, possibly not 1. I’m going to have to reinforce it with wire to use it with a spider. The white webbing is equivalent to a craft pipe cleaner but without the wire. It’s just puffy single thread. It would be a miracle if it could hold its own weight. It’s already coming apart in one area. The lights are those fairy wire lights, not traditional heavier duty lights. And the battery box is strangely placed smack dab in the middle of the web, where I’ll be lucky if it can take on the weight of the 3 AA batteries. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Spend just $10 more and get a good web. No way this could sell in a retail store unless it was the Dollar store.

You get what you pay for! It’s a tangled mess when you receive it, and the web is literally just yarn and twinkle lights. Since it’s not very sturdy, we made sure to install it closer to the house to not risk rain and wind. It’ll do for Halloween purposes.

It looks like a web. Large size. Outdoor? I doubt it will last. I too missed that it was battery operation. The battery case broke when I tried to open it and had to tape it closed. We may get 2 uses and if lucky maybe more.

We bought this web as a decoration for inside the house since we were having a big Halloween party. This web is actually very big. Next year we may put it on our porch or the side of the house. It is very well made. My cats would not leave it alone, but it withstood their frequent pulling on it. The timer option works great. The battery compartment is well made. It hangs in jusy the right location to conceal it. We woupd definitely buy more in different colors!

The timer function doesn't work. It came is aim altogether poorly packaged poorly packaged and the string is very thin and completely tangled up trying to get it set up was a mess.

My main dissatisfaction is due to faulty timer, poor battery life and that the lights are only on the spokes of the web, not the entire web. Additionally it does seem to flash on occassion when in the on position (there are only 3 positions, off, timer and on)Confirm with other poor reviews that packaging is bad (says orange when it is purple, and confusing mess when opening but the battery pack is in the middle so it you hold it center you can find the center and work backwards. We also had enough space to lay it flat first.)
