Doesn't work for iPod dock
Doesn't work for audio even with the aux cable plugged in, just charges. This was tested with an iPod Nano 7th gen.

Didn’t work for connecting a newer iPhone to a Bose docking station.
For this to work the docking station would need an audio port and mine doesn’t. Cost more to return it than I paid for it unless I want to drive 45 miles to return to a ups store.

Garbage
I ordered black got white says it would play audio but only would charge had to get a separate aux cable plug into ipod then to aux in on my stereo to get audio.So if you want audio this piece of garbage won't give that to you

Lightning connector is for power only. No audio.
I was hoping to use this with an iPhone that doesn’t have a headphone jack. No such luck.
