Q: Is this phone compatible with cordless phones? My Dad likes to use a cordless so he can do stuff while talking.

Well...it depends on what you mean by compatible. This phone is not a cordless. It can go on a wall or counter, but imho is better suited for a counter. My mom’s is on the wall and it’s not super steady. Hope this helps.

Q: Does this have a answering machine, I am looking for a large numbers with answering machine?

No answering machine...I wouldn’t recommend this anyway, 4 of the buttons’ inner components broke in under 2 months of use!

Q: How do you deprogram the red button from calling 911? I do not want it to be accidentally pushed. I want to disconnect the Red emergency button.

The video is wrong, my phone came with a pre- programmed 911 button and I accidentally called 911. I was hoping to program the 911 button to a different number, so this is a big bummer for us.

Q: Is this phone compatible with verizon?

It’s a standard land line, so any company where you plug into a phone jack should work.
