Good solution for PWC riders that want to communicate more easily
Very pleased. Use these when riding jetskis with my son (he is on one, and I am on another). We clip the main VHF radio to the lower part of our life vests, and the mic up on the shoulder are of our vests. By having the mic, which has a speaker in it, near my ear, we can communicate with each other easily when out on the water even if not near each other. We generally come slow down to an idle to talk much, but so far, these seem to be of good quality. The connector screws into the main VHF with an o-ring seal to make it waterproof.

Great upgrade for my M34
Works well as a microphone but I was pleasantly surprised how much louder the audio is compared to the internal speaker. Excellent for use on noisy boats.

Bigger than I expected
This just arrived and I was surprised about the size of the mic (see the picture) as its roughly 1/2 the size of the IC-M93D. I have also added a picture of the "alligator clip" it uses to attach to your vest or other clothing. The clip does rotate a full 360°.I did turn it on and the volume and clarity seem to be pretty good. The real test will be the next time I'm out kayaking in a stiff breeze and trying to monitor the radio as well. I haven't done that yet, so I will leave it to others to comment on those things.
