What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of an Elephant?You think, big, beautiful, heavy, with a beautiful trunk and full legs to match its body; plant-eating animal that is smart and never forgets, a beautiful animal that sadly will be extinct in 5-10 years but you feel lucky to have lived to see these while you could.When I bought this Naturally Nature Stuffed Plush Elephant, I didn’t bother looking at the reviews and now I wished I had. My husband and sons are spending Christmas with my kids grandparents and because I’m on chemotherapy and can’t walk, I was unable to come so, we celebrated Christmas early because they won’t be home for the actual date. And in lieu of them being away, I bought gifts my kids could take with them in their trip.Needless to say, now I wish I hadn’t.It’s literally flat.The legs were neither filled, nor was the body, and the only reason it looks like there’s any stuffing at all in its body is because of the blanket inside it, and without the blanket inside it, it’s even worse.To top it all this wasn’t cheap compared to others, and the only reason why I didn’t send it back was I had no time to send it back for a replacement nor refund and since it arrived the day before our early Christmas and my family took off the next morning. Him having the elephant was kind of my son’s way of telling gramma that like elephants never forget, nor would he and we’ll all miss her.Here are some pictures.Some say a picture is worth a thousand words but in this case, I’m rather speechless.I washed and dry as some suggested and even had on the dryer a little extra to see if it would “puff up” but alas dear me, there’s no stuffing in an animal that was supposed to be “stuffed.”My kid had been asking for one for a while and now having gotten it, I feel awful for giving my kid a substandard quality present.So. Having said that.The prospect of a stuffed blanket inside comes with a price. Some stuffing or hardly any if at all on the body and the legs, so I’ll have to stuff it myself when they get back from visiting Gramma one last time.Now, just because it doesn’t work for me doesn’t mean it won’t work for others. If you’re allergic to the stuffing, as thin as these are, you can always fill it with whatever would work for people with allergies, so that’s a plus for others.

So, I bought this for my dog that is constantly rubbing his eyes into something soft to relieve itchiness. He is also a big baby and needs to nuzzle into something bigger than he is, so I needed something I could wash frequently and also hypoallergenic. This is perfect, because in the winter he also needs his blankey while we what TV in the evening, so I just unzip and pull it out! You can say some dogs are like two-year olds, no matter how old the dog.

My one year old loves this plush elephant! It is super soft and he delights in giving it hugs and kisses. I like that the eyes are not plastic balls that could fall off and become a choking hazard, they are sewn on nicely. As others note it does have a bit of a smell straight out the box but we removed the blanket and washed them before letting him meet his new elephant. We don't have much use for the blanket so it just stays inside the elephant.

This item was horribly packaged! Taped to plastic bag! Luckily I bought it for a pets gift and unwrapped it and put in Christmas bag, very soft but not full, blanket enclosed inside the elephant keeps it fluffed, but once you remove blanket it flattens.

I really liked the elephant and blanket, however I had to return it as the zipper was broken. I really would like to replace it with another one. The order was filled and shipped quickly.

This stuffed elephant is SO soft!!!! Not only does my grandaughter love it, I do also!!! It's super cute! We love it!!!

Blankie nice size for child! Elephant very good size and very cute! Great gift if you don't know the sex of a child, works for both!
