CDM GEAR MTR Light Mount with 3 Slot Rail, Compatible with Mossberg 590A1, Black

This mount is amazing. Looks like polymer but its metal. And I was worried about how the rail was going to stay straight but there is a small metal pin that holds it in place below the hole that the screw go's through. This thing kicks ass and is very well built. But..... I know right. It comes with 2 vynal stickers that you are suposted to stick to the inside of the ring befor putting it on the mag tube. I only needed the smaller of the 2 for my mossberg 500.. Without one of these stickers the ring will not be able to stay in place without sliding around on the mag tube.. I tried it without the sticker, no go. All in all. This product is worth every penny. Also the rail itself is metal. Everything about this thing is metal. Its a little heavier than I expected but its not overwhelming.

Super solid shotgun light mount. Fits the smaller barreled mossberg 500s (which are hard to find light mounts for.) would fit anything longer as well. No loosening after many rounds of 3in #1 hevi snow buckshot

Very well made and sturdy.Don’t know if I got an incorrect one, but this doesn’t fit the Mossberg 590A1. I wasn’t expecting it to “drop in freely”, but I expected it to be worked onto the magazine tube without having to scrape up the tube or this piece. It was not even close to fitting my tube.Maybe I’m missing something, because it seems with a little spacing, it “could” work. But I’m not really hedging my bets on it. I used the smaller pad as recommended on the instruction sheet, and as you see in the pic, not enough space to make it fit, and trying to pull it apart is very counterproductive, if you even can, considering how solid it is.Edit: I wasn't the only one who noted this doesn't work with the 590A1. If the come with one that really fits the 590A1, I will buy it (hint hint)

Had this mounted on my Mossberg 500a in about a minute.Sturdy, good build, good buy.

I ordered this based off a few comments saying it fits a Shockwave.It did not fit the Nightstick I was working on.A quick look at the manufacturer's website shows a separate one specifically designed to fit the Shockwave's tighter clearance.So....my review is "Good Product", just not for this application.....get the MTRS instead or the MTR.

Description mentioned it will fit the 930SPX choke tube, however when installing, the diameter and circumference of the mount compared to the 930's choke tube is significantly smaller. Installing will require shaving off material to fit the tube without nicking and marring the finish. The package instructions states it will fit the 500 & 590A1 "and others with clamped magazine tube" with no mention of the 930 SPX. Will be returning.

My Mossberg 500A with the standard 5 shell magazine tube has plenty of room between the front of the forend and the barrel attachment mount. Hardest part about mounting this part is included in package are two clear rubber strips. The longer strip fits the mdl 500 tube. It goes inside the flashlight mount but I had a hard time then pressing the mount onto the tube end. I wound up trimming just a quarter inch off each end of the rubber strip and then the mount slipped on. I added some blue thread lock to the mount locking screw just for insurance. Once tightened the mount feels solid and although I haven't fired the shotgun with the flashlight on the mount, I'm confident it will hold it well. I highly recommend this CDM Gear MTR mount.

Fits perfectly how its supposed. Did not come with the screw necessary for attachment to firearm but was able to find one at local hardware store.
