"Linked" proves the value of LinkedIn - and removes its mystery!
This book demystified LinkedIn and convinced me that it’s definitely worth the necessary time and effort to increase my use of and presence on the platform. I have always been hesitant and intimidated by LinkedIn, therefore neglecting my profile and, Jeremy and Omar have convinced me in this book, missing out on potentials for connection and opportunity. The book is engaging and clear and by so thoroughly and compellingly telling the “story” of how hirers and recruiters use the platform to identify talent, finally made the true purposes and value of LinkedIn evident to me. In addition, the authors provide concrete examples and walk through how to use the platform's many tools, making LinkedIn even more accessible. Thank you - I’m working on my profile, connections, etc. right now!

Just get it
I'm only at chapter 2 but I can already enthusiastically recommend this book. From starting to think of my career as a process and of being in permanent "beta mode", to what makes a great job and the value of weak ties, it's a bit of a gold mine. I'm looking forward to finishing it and putting it all into practice.

Your Secret weapon to get your next Job!!!!Dont tell others....shhhhh
The books talk about strategies for how to hack the interview process by providing a five step process. The five steps go in detail about how to hack every step of the hiring process. The book talks about exploiting both man and machine(Linkedin Algorithm)to be a favorable candidate for the recruiter. Some ideas, such as Keywords and Hashtags, are fully elaborated.Using LinkedIn as a "great opportunity democratizer " is a great way to use the power of professional social media tools to increase your network and net worth. I was blown away by the hidden features of Linkedin to look for connections, new jobs, and, more importantly, to get the internal referral to employers that we want to talk to.. Reading this book will give us the right mindset and skillset to position ourselves as an attractive candidates that the interviewers want to talk. This book helps us getting that one call from the right employer amidst the cluttered, chaotic marketplace. I recommend this book as an essential tool for the next chapter in your career.

This book broke down the brick wall I was hitting in my job hunt
When I first found this book I was in a job hunt rut. After months of applying for jobs, I felt like I was just spinning my wheels and getting nowhere. I was so disheartened by the job hunt process that I lost hope. After reading this book and following the advice in it, that all changed. Now I am on a path that feels very promising. The first thing this book did was to teach me how the job hunt has changed since I graduated college. It suddenly made sense why the old school way I was approaching job searching wasn't working. I was empowered to learn that by utilizing the many tools in LinkedIn in a certain manner, I had so much more control over the job hunt and landing a job I really want. There are tools in LinkedIn I knew were there, but didn't think they seemed very useful. This book explained in a meaningful way how and why to use these. I was even introduced to some hard to find tools that I didn't even know existed. An example of tools I had seriously underused were the ones to be used to connect with people. I never knew how powerful these tools were and didn't have the skills to use them properly. While reading the book, I was pushed out of my comfort zone to actually connect with people in a meaningful way. I was skeptical, but I got results fast. I connected with a higher up from one of my dream companies who invited me to chat. I also connected with an influencer who has been down the path I am on and has helped me to focus my goals more intentionally and focus on the skills most important to landing a job.The book also showed me how to develop my profile in a way that allows it to move higher up in search results of the hiring managers and recruiters as well as being easier for recruiters to search for and find me. After following this advice, I was contacted by a recruiter for the first time who was really eager to talk to me. This was a huge change from the crickets I was hearing prior to making all of these changes.I highly recommend this book and that you follow the advice in it to transform your job hunt experience.

Best Book Ever!!
Best Book Ever!! My career specialist recommended this book. It's so much more than a mere book! It's a detailed window into growing an effective presence on LinkedIn! I highlighted, tabbed, and wrote brief notes in the margins. I used the included discount for the online course as well. The book is concise and wastes no time with pointless filler to pad space. It's 100% useful information, written in human language (i.e., not jargon) for complete clarity.
