this philips motion sensor bulb works perfectly and does not turn on unnecessarily it only lights up when there is actual movement and switches off when not needed which saves electricity and adds convenience the brightness is good and the sensor is very accurate i have also used a panasonic motion bulb before which started malfunctioning and is now in my dustbin so i would recommend going for philips instead of other brands i am also using their smart bulb which is working reliably overall a very reliable and premium quality product

I purchased this bulb believing it had a 6-meter motion sensor range, intending to use it outdoors since these bulbs tend to malfunction indoors. However, the sensing range is far shorter than advertised - closer to 3-4 meters, which is even less effective than my existing Halonix bulb (despite its own limited range).Another significant issue is the delayed shut-off time. This bulb takes 3-4 minutes to turn off after motion detection stops, compared to the Halonix model, which switches off within a minute.After testing two of these bulbs, I have concluded:1. The technology seems underdeveloped for reliable motion-sensing performance.2. Indoor use causes false triggers, with bulbs activating randomly without movement.3. Overheating occurs at the base within a few minutes.4. They may only function well in dark, isolated areas with minimal activity.I haven’t verified if this bulb illuminates unnecessarily during daylight, but Halonix bulb does not.I have ordered Panasonic, Havells bulbs. I am yet to test those, but I do not have high hopes.The lack of a return policy forces users to opt for replacement, which offers no real resolution.Update June 11, 2025 - Got it replaced, and as I had suspected, the above mentioned issues remain.Update June 29, 2025 - I tried the other 2 bulbs as well. Panasonic is worst, does not switch off at all. Return window has closed. The Havells is the best of the lot. If I have to rate these 4 bulbs then:1. Havells (Best)2. Halonix3. Phillips4. Panasonic (Worse).

Brought 2 and one was not working properly, got replaced. Now both are working fine exactly as specified. Once you receive the bulb ,testit and get it replaced If found to be defective. Motion sensing is much better than other brands

Working good...

The media could not be loaded. Ok ok, but still the motion sensor won't work properly some time it works some time we need to wave the hands in frond of libt with 10 cm then only the light will turn on.. if the socket is on the moult or exact on the cealing then avoid this , metion censor won't work , brightness and light all the good just like the normal bulb

PHILIPS Brand name spoiled by this Product.IT IS TIMER BULB.NOT MOTION SENSOR as given.This LED Bulb 9w MOTION SENSING B22 Bulb , is NOT Motion Sensor Bulb, it is ONLY time sensor Bulb after Switch ON, this bulb (named motion sensor Bulb) getting ON , gets OFF after 1minute.But after some time noticed 1 minute 30 sec getting ON without any person going in the room.Even one person GOES inside the room near bulb below bulb, goes left right around the room i.e.movement within the range, the BULB NOT sensing and getting ON.IT IS only TIMER bulb getting OFF after 1 minute and automatically again GETS ON after some minutes 1minute 30 secs and GETING OFF after 1 minute. SO IT IS CLEARLY A TIMER BULB "NOT" Motion SENSING bulb.
