Excellent product. Nothing to didlike IMO.

I had visited with my sister and I noticed she had this paper towel holder. I thought it was fantastic and decided to order one for myself. I absolutely love it. The thing that makes it so great is you can use one hand to retrieve your paper towel. It dispenses just one towel at a time. I know that may not be a big deal for some but for me it’s wonderful, especially when the grand kids are visiting, a lot less waste.

We have never loved any paper towel holder we have had. The lightweight ones are great for carrying to clean up a pet accident or spill but they have all required using two hands. Most of the time, though, they sit on the countertop in our kitchen and always require both hands to get a towel. This stainless-steel paper towel holder, though, is heavy. It won't be as easy to cart around the house. But, I can easily tear off a single towel with just one hand. That kicks it up into the top rank of all towel holders I have owned. I had not realized how much I would love being able to grab a towel one-handed. So, our other paper towel holders are being repurposed to hold towels under bathroom sinks or to hold spare rolls of toilet paper. This one will sit happily on the kitchen counter. In addition, the stainless steel looks great with our stainless steel appliances.sI am unclear why I am being asked to rate a stainless-steel paper towel for softness, though. It is clearly solid and well-made so it gets one-star for softness (which is the rating I would want to see in buying something made of metal!). Overall, though, this is a 5-star paper-towel holder.

I like the product but it was broken when I received it

This makes a clicking noise when you pull the paper towels out. The noise is created by whatever mechanism causes friction to allow you to pull one paper towel off at a time. it functions well but is super annoying and way too much tension towards the end of the Roll so you wind up pulling the dispenser over. I expected much more for the price. also came bent because it is shipped fully put together in a box unlike other models which have you screw the rod on the base separately. Found q on Amazon for half the price that functions much better.

My first impression upon removing this paper towel holder from the box was how heavy it was. The weighted base is substantial and really keeps the holder from moving around. The stainless steel finish is really nice and it looks great sitting on my counter. The top knob that secures the paper towel roll easily removes with a quarter twist. I mention this because my first instinct was to unscrew and I nearly disassembled the holder rather than just removing the top.I was a little dubious about the "perfect tear" technology, but it really does seem to work. The central spool grabs on to the paper towel roll and applies some light resistence to the roll spinning. When you pull the roll straight out, it clicks (almost like a light ratcheting noise) and then you pull down to tear the towel. Because of the resistance the towel tears nicely without unrolling the paper towel any further than you intend. My kids and I actually find the light clicking kind of satisfying in a strange way.

This one fills the bill. It has a brushed stainless steel finish. The weighted hexagonal shaped base is solid, to prevent tipping, and has non-slip padding, on the bottom, to help hold it in place. This paper towel holder accommodates both standard and jumbo rolls. It has everything I look for, in a paper towel holder, and has a stylish design, to boot.
