I think it is better than epson i had previoisly.good quality .easy to use.from last six month no issue.in epson issie are 1.ant attacking smps 2.paper manually feed 3.colour sometime dry 4.there are scopes of dust penetration 5.two unit system one is colour other is main 6.there is paper movement issueSo for home use brother is best

Print is very fast, Quality is good, we have to open paper try every time for back to back printing

Supposed to be wireless WIFI printer but actually wireless feature doesn't exist.

Best printer in this budget both colour and bw printing speed is very good

Cons:Power cable sits loose in the printer socket. Nightmare to print booklets as it definitely takes two sheets sometimes especially in booklet prints inspite of all precautions. Scanner is big enough but doesn't scan the whole area. 60% times gives paper jam error when a sheet is feeded from external feeder (You have to train yourself for it).Pros: Build quality seems good. Paperport software (to edit pdfs) is free with it. Printing speed & quality is good. One has to change the option of photocopy via copy shortcut to b&w from the software else by default it prints only colour photocopy. Turn on the silent mode if you don't wish to see it in angry mode.

This my first Brother printer (01 Nov 2024) and it impressed me (used both HP and Canon till now) This is hands down the best printer from brother. I bought the non wifi version t226 as i dont need wifi and saved me couple thousand. The printer was not easy to set up but downloaded the drivers from brother website and it worked perfectly.The scanner is some thing to talk about, canon and HP does max 600 dpi but this one can do 1200x1200dpi and i am blown away, was not expecting this resolution at this cost of 8.5K. Make sure to download brother iprint and scan software to get the full potential.The print heads are also piezo electric ones and not thermal, so theyll last very long hopefully. Better value for money than HP and Canon and on ball park with Epson but still affordable compared to all. Great printer overall, would recommend it for a home purpose. Please print one copy every week to keep the print heads from clogging and should work trouble free. Will update in future about how it goes and how long it lasts.
