The most amazing recipes!
Okay. Okay. I bought this book because my daughter is into all things Paris, France. I flipped to a recipe for an almond cake and made it. OH WOW! So delicious. So easy. So French. I can't wait to try the other recipes and explore more of the story with her.

FUN & WELL ILLUSTRATED STORY FOR THE CURIOUS &/OR WELL-TRAVELED CHILD
Clearly this story was written by Alice Waters in "her daughter's voice." The illustrations are lush & detailed, delivering well to Francophiles like myself! The recipes are a wonderful bonus!

A charming not-just-children's book
I just read Fanny singer's memoir of growing up as Alice Waters' daughter, and of their sojourns in France, so it's fun to see Alice's take on those same years. It's a good introduction to fresh food, cooking and dining for kids, but you don't have to be a kid to enjoy the book and its recipes.

Fanny's Fun
It's a fun read, and I have all Alice Waters' books, save one. It's a (slight) shade on the pretentious side, but I couldn't break up the "set" of Waters' books. I'll enjoy having it.
