Amazing and good price!
Really nice, had no trouble at all installing it and to be clear I didn’t touch it, my husband did, so by the time it was delivered and when I got home it was already all put together and ready to use! We have had a previous offset smoker before that was around $400 that I swear was just as good as this one. We have made ribs, fall off the bone good, and pulled pork. Both have been absolutely delicious and the temperature was super easy to control! It’s well built, easy to use, has really nice racks, and the space all underneath is also really nice because it’s enough room for multiple big bags of charcoal / wood. The only thing you have to do is make sure you buy a grease catcher to go underneath. We have already smoked bacon, ribs, and pulled pork and it all was delicious and melt in your mouth worthy. Really love this purchase

Very well put together Smoker/Grill
OK here is my review. The box came a day early which was nice. The box was not damaged but the top part did have a slight dent in it which caused a bow where the top seats to the bottom part in the back. I'll probably have alot of smoke leak from that area. It's not that bad though so I did not want to return it. I found the instructions to be very easy to understand and very well illustrated. It took me about an hour to put the entire Smoker/Grill together. A screwdriver and a crescent wrench was all I needed to do the entire assembly. This is a well engineered product and all of the parts fit well. Some were a little awkward but it was easy to manage. I like the way the charcoal tray can be removed for emptying of ashes. The side smoker is a plus for me because I like to smoke brisket and I love the fact that you can continually add coals and wood in the side chamber and not disturb your cook in the main chamber. My grill came with a cover which is nice but it in no way looks like the picture. The reason for this is because of the smoke stack on the right side. It's impossible to have the cover look like it was represented in the picture but still, a cover is nice to have. The only other pet peeve I have is the last part to be installed. It is an ash cup tray. There was no "cup" in the package. The cup tray was listed in the documentation but no cup. It would be nice if they would at least tell you what kind of ash cup you need. That was the reason for the 1 star deduction. I have not cooked on it yet. This was just my review of the assembly process. I will update when I have a chance to cook on it.

Works for what I need
Not the heaviest construction, but went together fairly easily . Have to be careful if how much charcoal I out in as the lower pan bends from the heat. But overall , it's not a bad grill for the price.

Amazing
The media could not be loaded. Great for the price! We have never owned a smoker/smoked meat but this is a great starter to try it. My boyfriend loves it and is learning how to smoke using the attacked smoker. It is very easy to use. Only issue is the bottom pan that goes in the grill itself under the charcoal holder has started to peel off the black color that was on it only after two uses. The smoker side is easy to work but the entrance is very small so you have to turn the charcoal holder (idk the real word for this piece the piece the charcoal/smoker items sit on) sideways to ever get it out to dump it. We also have had some issues with the seal on the grill and when smoking the smoke goes out of every area where the lid attaches to the grill itself. The assembly took me about an hour/hour and a half with just me. It can go faster using two people!

He loves!!
Got this for Father’s Day. He loves and said it was easy to put together, the size is great, heat stays in well, the design is great, good quality, heavy duty but doesn’t weight a lot, makes food the taste great!!

Zero customer service
I wasn't expecting much more than a difficult to use beginner's smoker, but it was much worse than that. First, the only positive was assembly, I thought it was very easy and well explained. Two tools and about two hours. Unfortunately it came with a damaged lid corner (and bent cooking grate) which twisted the metal on the entire lid, so I knew there would be a huge gap letting heat and smoke out. I decided to assemble and season anyway while I waited for new parts from royal gourmet. Three calls to the company all went straight to a voicemail that said no one is available to take my call, leave my name and number and my call will be returned. Never happened. As my saga with customer service unfolded, I started to realize that the way the lid is designed on this smoker makes it impossible to ever be able to seal it correctly to avoid heat and smoke loss. The way it closes even if not damaged leaves massive gaps on either side, because it's a charcoal grill first and smoker second. Plus the metal is so thin it would only be able to be used in the Summer because you would never be able to maintain cooking temps in colder weather. Another negative is that in the three weeks I had it the insides of the legs started rusting, which I found during disassembly for return. Once returned I bought an Oklahoma Joe's Highland instead. If you can afford the extra 200 dollars do it, because right out of the box the difference in quality is astounding. The only reason I went with a 140 dollar smoker is because I wanted to see if I liked smoking on something other than my propane grill. Turns out I do, but the Royal Gourmet smoker was a mistake.
