I have tried to use this with two different hdmi cables and checked all connections. No matter what I do I am still having this issue.This worked absolutely perfectly for an hour or two, and then the problems started.Over seemingly random periods of time it will function perfectly fine and then all of a sudden start cutting in and out, dropping all audio and video from my tv for 3 - 30 seconds or so, and then connecting again for a little bit (a few seconds to a few minutes, it really has no pattern).I don’t really know what I expected. I feel like I should have just spent another couple of pounds for a display port to hdmi cable, rather than an adapter so I could use my existing hdmi cables.The audio and picture quality is spot on and I can’t fault the product for that. But it is simply unusable given these issues.

This is a nice little adapter. Arrived on time and connects well with the laptop and the HDMI cable. I gave 2 star because of the picture/video quality. When I connect my laptop to a second screen using this adapter, the output in the second screen does not show the true colours (the second screen gets a more brownish shade).

Not a lot to say other than worked as expected at a good price. This is to connect an HDMI cable to a device with a DISPLAY PORT outlet. ie: display port on PC to HDMI input in your monitor. Obviously you will need an HDMI cable too.
