Firstly, i ordered this & it came the very next day. When it arrived, i was impressed at how robust it feels in your hand & was surprised at the size of the gas tank.It came fully gassed up & i've been waiting for it to empty before writing a review, but after 3 1/2 weeks it's still 1/4 full & this is being used by someone who rolls his own & has to keep relighting due to being on his PC a lot during the day!The flame adjuster works, but as it's both a windproof lighter AND a blowtorch, soldering gun (flamethrower? Lol) you don't notice a dip in the flame, but you can hear the change. The locking mechanism for the flame works as it should & whoever it was left a review saying the flame melted the lid is either lying, or talking about a different product, as the flame doesn't go near the lid!At 2 3/4" high by 1 3/4"across, it's nigh on impossible to misplace yet small enough to fit in any pocket or bag, without being a problem.Having had many lighters throughout my almost 50 years of smoking, i can honestly put my hand on my heart & say that for reliability,ease of use. value for money, versatility & looks, this is by far the best lighter i've come across in decades.I am so impressed with this lighter that i've just ordered 2 more for my sons, who are as impressed as i am with the one i bought for myself.I would thoroughly recommend this product & this seller to ANYONE & EVERYONE who asked my opinion of either.8/3/15 UPDATE:The tank finally ran dry today, so it's lasted around 6 or 7 weeks & it's not just been used to light MY cigarettes, others have been using it too. I've also been using it to melt the casing on some wires, cutting the plastic ties on packages & even sealing the lids on some plastic tubs to keep the contents in whilst travelling.If THAT'S not putting this lighter through a stamina & versatility test, i don't know what is!!!All in all, i cannot sing the praises of this lighter highly enough & would honestly urge anyone considering buying one to stop considering & just order one. Believe me, you really won't regret it!

Fantastic lighter at a fantastic price. Also super fast delivery. Bought mainly for when I walk my 2 dogs. It's a nightmare trying to light your ciggy in the winter whilst walking 2 pulling terriers and your stupid lighter won't work lol. Works every time and definitely wind proof. I also like the fact it has a flip top lid, stops the flame hole getting mucky and wet. It's also a nice size (but not to big) so won't have to refill it much. I've had more expensive lighters that aren't as good. Really great price to, can't go wrong. I have the red one and it's nice colour. I didn't mind which colour I got but you can message the seller and tell them which colour you would like, which is a little thing but also great as a lot of sellers don't do this. It worked ok for 10 days then the nozzel that makes the flame fell out and it won't light without that. The free clipper they sent with it still works but if I wanted a clipper I would have bought one at the shops. I wanted a wind resistant, large tank lighter that I could depend on whilst wild camping at a reasonable price. I have got a swiss army one but that cost £54.00 and I have nearly lost it twice in the dark.

As others have already said, this is a brilliant lighter, it does exactly what it should and the gas lasts ages, easy to fill, easy to light and totally windproof once lit, although it doesn't like being lit in a wind, but to me that is a minor hitch, the lock button to me is pointess and i will have to glue in place, as it does seem to lock itself just when you want to only use one hand to light it, usually when i am driving.This is an update to my previous review as i have now been able to test it throughly over a fairly long period.1The filler valve does not leak after a number of refils.2 The lighter does generally light first time for a while.3 Sadly the ignition fails completely after a couple of months so its not perfect but for the price i really can't complain

Both of these lighters that I have purchased have been very hard to operate at first but gradually get easier with use. Refilling is a bit of a bind but with care and attention can eventually be accomplished. Considering the price I feel the efforts are worthwhile and will consider buying again if necessary.H. The lighter arrived in good time and and worked even in wet and windy environments. I am giving this seller and item Five Stars because unlike most of the time where the ligjhter stops working after a few days of use, this lighter is going strong and I can still rely on the ignition spark to work even in the bad wet and windy weather we have been having of late. I would have bought at least another three or four of these if since my purchase. This is a top quality product at a very low price beating by far some of the more expensive brands on durability. I have no need to buy another one as yet, but may just buy another one in a different colour. Would recommend to anyone who wants a reliable lighter to take with out with them during this winter.

This lighter has a large fuel tank as advertised, but is otherwise poorly designed and hard to use. The ignition button is very small and the spring underneath is way too stiff, which combine to make the lighter awkward and even a bit painful to use for more than a few seconds at a time. There is a plastic switch which allows you to "lock" the flame so it stays on without you having to hold the button down, but this feature stopped working after a few uses.If you just want this lighter for lighting the odd cigarette, it might be adequate for you. If you want to use it to heat things for more than a couple of seconds at a time, you may find it too small and difficult to use comfortably.
