The Courage to Be Free: Florida's Blueprint for America's Revival

I have read this book with great pleasure. Governor DeSantis' governance is guided by the Constitution, evidence and common sense. Rather than a politician, he is a statesman, with a genuine focus on what is best for the people of Florida, with courage and determination, and the energy of being in his prime. It is no wonder that after a stellar first period, he has been reelected by a huge margin. I know that the people of Florida would love to have him serve for another four years, but at this point, he is needed much more urgently to rectify the course of the whole country. I hope that he will run as a presidential candidate in the 2024 election, and that the people of this nation will have the wisdom to elect him.

It's gonna be a great time to be a conservative in the next presidential election....

Best book I have ever read in my life. Democrat Soros funded DAs and Democrat Soros funded judges have destroyed all public safety in this country with soft on crime policies. Democrats care more about the violent criminal than the victim of violent crime. Governor and future POTUS Desantis in this book has the blueprint to dramatically lower crime by eliminating cashless bail, eliminating PR bonds, properly charging and prosecuting violent crimes, and removing Soros funded DAs from office like he did with Andrew Warren in Florida. Crime is at a 50 year low in Florida. This book is the blueprint to bring back law and order. I also love how Desantis actually wrote this book unlike other politicians who use ghost writers. Desantis is amazing. He grew up in a middle class family, worked hard to get into top undergrad and law school, served our country heroically in a combat zone, and came back home to serve his constituents as a US attorney, congressman, governor, and now as President. This book will studied for centuries in the future as the signature text from our 47th president: Ron Desantis.

Well worth the read if you’d like to know more about Governor Ron DeSantis, what he believes in, and his philosophy of governing. He covers a lot of ground but not in a lot of depth. I would have appreciated more anecdotes and behind the scenes gossip but that isn’t this book. I hope someday he writes a detailed book on his whole experience dealing with Covid and fighting lockdowns because, reading between the lines, he isn’t Fauci’s biggest fan, to say the least.Above all, he comes across as a straightforward man who governs by common sense. He came from a lower middle class background, used sports and his brains to go to the most elite schools yet seems very down to earth. He won his first Congressional race as a nobody with no financial backing by he and his wife knocking on doors - pure common sense and hustle.This book is an easy read you can knock out on a few hours.

Ron DeSantis constructed a massive movement by doing what was Constitutionally required. Rather than being hopeful that the polls would support him, he didn’t even regard them. From the start to the final paragraph, he delivered a message of how you can enlist the support to do what is best for the citizens that you are responsible to by being open and honest. Period. And nowadays, that takes a monumental form of courage. Thank you, Governor DeSantis for allowing us to learn from your heart.

I’m inspired! I’ve been waiting for a leader to emerge that has the leadership and courage to do what is right, to stand firm against the liberal media and the corporate woke agenda. Ron has an extremely impressive resume with Yale, Harvard Law, Military service, US House of Representatives, and Governor of Florida. Perhaps most notably he has good common sense. Common sense is an extremely important quality that is all too often lacking in government leaders today. He is going to make one of greatest President’s in American history!

Ron DeSantis has all the right principles to make a great President. He has courage, clarity of purpose, a beautiful family, and great instincts. I wish he had revealed more of his religious convictions in his book. Also, I hope he will re-evaluate his stand on Ukraine and remember what happened when an earlier Putin named Hitler was not stopped early in his aggressions.

I love our Free State of Florida which has thrived under the leadership of Ron DeSantis. This book gave me the privilege of getting to know him and how he became a beacon of freedom and prosperity. He writes about his experience growing up, encountering the progressive ideology of the elite left, and his life as a child then a man, a husband and father and a politician. It describes how his blueprint for America works in Florida and can work across the nation. We are far better off in Florida than we have been during my entire life. Other states and our entire nation should look to what he writes as a best practice to accomplish freedom and prosperity for our entire country.

A great book by one of the most promising and successful politicians in America today who has shown it’s possible to achieve tangible policy victories without compromising on principle.
