Falcon Housewares 1 x 20cm Oblong Pie Dish - Enamel

These are classic enamled pie dishes....perfect for fish pie for 2, lasagne, pasta bakes, pies etc. They'll last a lifetime! My Gran used them, my Mum also, and now me. They go blackened with age but that just adds to their charm.

I bought these to make fish pies in for our pub. Size is perfect, they are excellent quality too and look the part when serving in them.

A lady reviewed these dishes and said that she bought them to serve individual fish pies in, and that’s exactly what convinced me to buy them.I’d been looking for dishes for some time but they were either too big or too small, these are absolutely perfect though, so long as you enjoy what I’d consider to be a “normal” portion, around 400g in total, these would be spot on.They wash well (the sticky dots that stick the label to the inside of the dish takes som getting off) and they’re oven-safe, so melting a cheese topping is no issue, but they’ll obviously cause all kinds of pretty flashes, explosions and house fires were they to go into a microwave (don’t do that) all-in-all, I’m delighted and will definitely buy more should the need arise.

Way cheaper than purchasing elsewhere, product is robust, good size and is suitable for freezing portions.Can't fault, used same make previously never had any issues.

Now as a single person the pie dishes I have are generally too large for my needs. These are an ideal size, enabling me to batch bake and make individual portions for freezing. They are of reasonable quality for the price, but I found the underside of the lips are quite sharp. I reduced it a little using emery paper, but this really needs doing in the manufacturing before enamelling.

I love enamel type dishes and continue the use of them following both my mother and grandmother. I've used in the oven and under the grill. Removed any baked on food via soaking in hot soapy water and a quick scrub using Brillopads. Good size for an individual portion too.

Looked good until I un packed number 6 - very damaged however will be returned but puts me in a pickle as desperately needed them

My wife does a lot of cooking and said she was short of pie dishes so I bought her these, she said they are great. A good size heavy metal dishes that are easy to clean, a must have if your a cook
