Hearthstone: Innkeeper's Tavern Cookbook

I usually read other reviews on here before making my own plus reading the book.Honestly Chelsea Monroe is one of my favorite authors ever and shes done a great job with this one as well.Now a good thing to know that sets this apart from her other books is that its themed to be a tavern book something the owner would keep around and improve on over the years thats why certain recipes have crossed out ingrediants and such. Its trying to let you roleplay with this bookSecond this is book is well tavern food. IE Its a bar that also serves food but the Bar is the main star. This book is perfect for planning a part as most of the food is small stuff and filled with drinks. As of now Ive tried 4 of them and they have been well and you can usually add your own stuff to suit your taste. Its filled with drinks as well.There arnt any main course dishes in this book, Much like a tavern you come for the drink and if your a little hungry you get something small and then your on your way. My favorite so far is the pizza as its just a cute interesting recipe.That being said that 1 star review simply does not make any sense and what this book sets out to do it does perfectly. I highly recommend it to anyone even more so if you have kids its even better for them.Overall its just a fun cute little cook

Let me start by saying: I LOVE Chelsea Monroe-Cassel. She's brilliant and her books are always so incredibly fantastic with all their little details. That being said, of all her books, this one is my least favorite thus far. Probably about 60% of it is all drinks. I get it, it's an Innkeeper's Tavern Cookbook, but the recipes that are included are also not up to par with her other books either. I regularly cook things out of her WoW and GoT cookbooks, but I can't see making or eating anything out of this one. These are definitely cute and charming, but just not things I'd eat.What I do think this book would be well suited for is either people who love to try interesting cocktails, or getting kids interested in cooking with the very simplistic and easy recipes (e.g. the cut up hot dogs in corn bread muffins). If you're someone who enjoys cooking dishes with more than a few ingredients, I'd suggest sticking with her other books (WHICH ARE SO INCREDIBLY AMAZING!!!!). However, I still don't regret buying this book. It'll be a great one for the collection and her other cookbooks are so amazing, I'm happy to support her by purchasing it.

They have a smattering of unique and helpful recipes, but unfortunately a handful of them are completely ordinary. Polymorph puffs are pigs in a blanket, blood of the [B]ancient one is a bloody mary. I wouldn't use this book as a direct guide on how to cater a Warcraft themed party, but it would definitely help steer me in the right direction.Hair of the Worgen is actually great when you use good broth.

I love this and the warcraft and skyrim book. This one is a bit smaller easy to put behind a bar. The photos and everything about these books are just amazing. These are by far my most beloved books I own. The recipies are just great the ironforge rations my hubby grabbed this cookbook and made those one night they were so good. I can't wait to make these for game nights for my friends and entertaining. Thank you so much for these books ❤

I love all the appetizer and drink recipes in this book. I've used it a few times now for snacks and drinks while entertaining at home for family and friends. Definitely recommend for a surprising change to your usual drinks or fantasy themed parties.

I really don't understand the one star review. This is a beautiful cookbook full of recipes I can't wait to make. I love the Hearthstone references, the photography is gorgeous and the recipes look wonderful. What's not to like? Sure there are a few recipes that don't appeal to me but that's no different than any other cookbook. I have the World of Warcraft Cookbook by the same author and everything in it has been delicious so I trust that these will be as well. They certainly look like they will be. I'd recommend this to anyone, even if they aren't Hearthstone fans.

Really loved getting this cookbook, its so great! I enjoy video games by blizzard and had to have this cookbook. Highly recommend

This is a smaller cookbook than the WoW one but still I'm very impressed with the quality. The food is delicious! Can't believe this was only $15. Soooooo so so so worth every copper;)

Es un libro con bebidas, snacks (botanas) y postres, incluye algunos jarabes y cosas que debes hacer para otras recetas del libro, en general la variedad de platillos está muy bien. En México los ingredientes los encuentras en tiendas especializadas y en supermercados como "Selecto" o "City Market" ya que son condimentos poco comunes por su origen inglés.El libro viene muy bien empastado, con pasta gruesa y acabados en barniz brillante. Su calidad es muy buena.LO MALO: Es un libro en inglés por lo que si no sabes nada de cocina aun asi hagas la traducción hay conceptos que solo podría manejar alguien con conocimientos básicos de repostería o barista.No es un libro que sea muy visual y algunas preparaciones no son recomendadas para principiantes. Si eres un fan y te gusta la cocina y sabes algo de ello es muy recomendable, tiene cosas muy ricas.Si no tienes ni idea de como hacer crema batida o no tienes idea de como cocinar y te gusta Hearthstone, no te lo recomiendo, en verdad es difícil preparar los platillos y muy probablemente vas a requerir muchos intentos antes de que te salga un platillo más o menos comestible.

Great book! Good recipes and goes well with the other two World Of Warcraft cook books! Good selection of items to make for all occasions!
