Easy to apply, great product.
Applies easily and quickly with the applicator.Darken the untreated leather slightly, but not more than I expected. Was absorbed quickly, and leather has a definite softer feel

Brought An Old Chair Back From The Dead
My 20 year old chair was looking very rough and dry. It absorbed a whole tin of this mink oil wax. It was some work applying it, but the result is very impressive. The leather feels supple again. It’s not greasy. The colour is back to its original shade. There is almost no smell, and that which there is smells clean and leathery, not unpleasant. What is really impressive is that my chair is nubuck whole hide. The instructions say not to apply to nubuck, but I had nothing to lose. So I went for it. The chair has retained its nubuck almost suede texture. That is a welcome surprise.I have no doubt that the chair will go another twenty years at least. I won’t leave it so long before treatment again.

works great
i used fiebing's saddle soap and let them dry for 24 hours before i applied the mink oil. the right boot is after letting it absorb for a few hours and then gently going over the boot with a horsehair brush to distribute and absorb the excess. it made this leather very shiny

Best in class mink oil
Love this stuff. I got this to darken a bright yellow wallet. Got it to a light brownish color. It’s matte, waterproof, and softened now. Hardly any smell and easy to apply.

Mink Oil Review: The Real One
Mink oil is a leather lifesaver. It conditions, adds water resistance, and gives old boots a second life. Expect your leather to darken (sometimes a lot), and don’t use it on suede or nubuck unless you like regret. It’s old-school, it works, and it smells like someone who knows what hard work looks like. Still a go-to for any serious boot owner.
