Called Amazon and Tuya to try and connect to Alexa , still not able to do so after a week. Works with the remote but not Alexa -which is literally the reason I bought this, and bought the hub as well….

The media could not be loaded.  I got 2 of them both start to rip off

This blind looks good and is easy to install and operate.

These blinds were important to be smart for me. I like all my electronics to be automated where I just have to set it and forget it. Many of the reviews scared me into thinking this wouldn’t work. Id believe them if it weren’t for my persistence.Things you need to do in order to get these things smart controlled:- buy the smart bridge that they sell that’s on this page. No other tuya smart bridge or gateway will work.- there is a Youtube instructional video that the seller sent me in order for me to properly connect it to my Alexa app. I cant share that link but you should be able to find it with a little bit of searching- you have to use “scenes” in your Tuya app in order to get the scheduling to work.There are only paper instructions on how to install the actual blinds and work the remote. Be extra diligent in reading the instructions of the remote in order to properly operate it. You will have to take apart the remote in order to get the opening and shutting of the blinds to your desired heights.I agree with everyone about the sticky tape around the battery cover. But a sanitary wipe took care of any sticky residue. So a mild annoyance at worst for me.This takes 6 AA batteries. That’s a lot in my opinion and Im concerned about how much these blinds will go through them. So far, it’s been running 2-3 times a day for about a week and the batteries are still good. The slipping cover doesn’t bother me. I shouldnt need to go up and in there unless I want to change batteries. I would have appreciated it clicking into place though. Also, getting all 6 batteries in was a little bit of a pain but hopefully one that doesnt have to happen often.The blinds themselves definitely block out the light and do a great job. Although, outside the window frame does leak light at the top. An additional annoyance is that the blinds can ONLY use the remote/smart app and can never be pulled down manually. It will damage the motor. So thats a downfall for me. It’s like an out of order escalator. They’re still stairs but you’re not allowed to use them.All in all, Im disappointed at having to pay over $100 and having to go through this big of a headache (complicated setup with the remote and smart app) with it all.

Instalé la persiana motorizada y funciona muy bien utilizando el control remoto incluido, pero no me queda claro como hacer que funcione a través de mi voz con Alexa. Ojalá y me puedan apoyar para poder hacerla funcionar con el dispositivo Alexa. 😞
