Space invaders arcade game
This is a miniature version of the big arcade game that I used to play regularly many years ago back in 1980 ..... it plays identically to its bigger brother and has the same controls .... a great blast from the past for me ... a brilliant game machine

Fantastic retro vibes!
The media could not be loaded. I must have been 7 years old when Space Invaders was launched and remember playing it at my local cinema.This is a tiny but perfect recreation of that arcade machine. The gameplay and sound are bang on.The joystick feels sturdy and has a metal shaft so it should take some punishment.Shame it loses high scores once powered off, but it's still a wonderful technical feat and at a very reasonable price.I know we could probably download something similar and play on our phones for free, but for children who were raised in the 70s and 80s there is a magical quality to arcade cabinets.Even at 52 I am now still a daily PS5 gamer but this stuff is where my gaming DNA came from.I put together a little video for my best friend in the USA to show him, but will attach it here and it's quite a good demo.

Looks amazing
Looks incredible.You can't download this original unless Taito decide to licence this out. They have been dining out on this original patent since the 1970's and obviously hold on to it dearly and who can blame them. There is but one simple retro version of this and Taito charge a fortune for any format but if you want it identical to the original version, you have to pay a hefty price. I don't think the Company would still be in business if it wasn't for this original version.It's so simple yet so unique. This is an example of how important to have the correct patent.I just saw the video review and it's compelled me to buy one. Why don't I just download a space invaders game to my phone for free because I won't get this version. The handheld is nearly £50. Outrageous price but if I had that patent I would also charge £50 for a £10 handheld. I was so impressed with that demo I think I will buy one of each.
