Fairly well made
Fairly well made, however it need to be a bit more sturdy. Love the fact that the length can be adjusted so it sits correctly on the floor. Gas spring work great to pull the plywood door closed.

Very easy to install
This went up quickly. Works well and looks very nice. I had to adjust it a bit because it was racked and wouldn’t close propperly. But, after a few adjustments, it works perfectly. I am a big man and this stair holds up to me and an armload of junk.Highly recommend.

Well figured out
When installed properly, this foldable attic ladder is extremely reliable.

Not happy
The metal folding arm bent out and was extremely difficult to close and it happened on the second closing. Very frustrating and it was a favor for a friend and now I still owe the favor and look like incompetent. Not my first installment of attic ladders

Nice ladder, small problem
Easy to install after getting a few tips from installer videos. Note that once you have the ladder in the hole, it is easier to secure it with temporary screws from the attic side through the joists so you can open the ladder to install the proper lag screws. There are no useful instructions in the box.Gave it 4 stars because a cross brace holding the outer cover is poorly positioned so it blocks gripping the rung. It is secured by screws to the ladder so if the cross piece isn't glued to the cover, I will drill new holes and move it.

Door does not shut all the way
After following instructions on how to install this stairway, when closing stairway door does not shut all the way it stays open about 2 inches. I called the company asked for assistance on how to correct this problem and they were no help.
