It's easy to use, easy to understand, no mechanic experience required.Long Review:08 Chev Tahoe LTZ - 143k miles - bought newLife is CRAZY... it's 2008 and you're married & receive a brand new $$$$$ vehicle because your self-employed husband needs the write-off and then BAM! it's 2024 and you're divorced because it really is better to 'cry on a bicycle' than get thrown up stairs because you asked where he'd been for 3 days. This Tahoe is m'girl! And I've found myself needing to take care of her because I can't afford anything else (24/7/365 "caregiver" for our disabled 28 year old, can't work, blah blah blah). Bought this BLUEDRIVER SCAN TOOL after doing some research and it seemed to be about as good as it gets for under $100. Fast forward less than a year and I've repaired/replaced everything BLUEDRIVER has told me, I'm down to the last thing and it's supposed to be here Sunday. Just to have the dealership read codes was going to be over $200 and require a 45 minute one way drive because the locals don't service vehicles over 10 years old. I don't even want to know what they would have charged me for the services/parts/repairs. I'll have less than $500 (thus why it's taken a year, can only do so much at a time) in once I get the P2138 taken care of next week. PRAISE GOD 🙌🏻 YouTube has some really phenomenal channels - watch several videos to figure out which works best for you, watch the chosen video at least once more before jumping in, and you're golden. If a 'pretty smart petite blonde' can climb into her engine - not running 😉 - and replace the vapor thingy, ANYONE CAN. But this to is the first step and it does correctly identify and catalog every single code. Allows annotations of the service/repair/replacement once you've completed. Allows reports to be printed. And even when you Clear a Report, it's still available to view in the History section of the BlueDriver app.

When it works it works well, it just takes to long to read. Gives great information and is very detailed. Nothing good if you are in a hurry. I am not sure if its the connection or something else that delays it. I also have to be super close to it.

I had a lot of problems trying to load it. I called the listed number and got a great tec. She walked me through the process which was nothing like the printed card that came with it. After it was loaded it performed flawlessly. Easy to understand and use.Another thing it can be on other cars as well, as long as they have OBD-II. Great product, well worth the $.
