Easy to use
It took me a while to set this up but when I did I found it pretty easy - and I am a complete novice with setting up a wallet.

Horrible
First I'm going to start off telling you that I am a pretty tech savvy person. I have a leder cold wallet and multiple trading account for stocks and cryptocurrencies. I was truly excited to use this product until I got it. I'd like to say anything good about this but it just doesn't work. It will not hold a charge at all. It will only turn on when it is plugged in. I truly wanted to start pushing into the new age currency world but ended up lossing the total investment into the product. I tried multiple times to get this item to work like intended.

It's ideal for crypto-savvy users seeking advanced security.
Unboxing the SecuX Shield Bio Crypto Hardware Wallet, the compact, credit card-sized design immediately indicated a device built for convenience and portability. The packaging was sleek, with a modern aesthetic that hinted at the advanced technology within. The wallet's standout feature is its biometric fingerprint authentication, which promises an additional layer of security. It's not just a lock and key; it's a personalized safeguard against intrusion. Moreover, the Encrypted Bluetooth connection is noteworthy, as it allows for secure, wireless interactions with other devices. The user experience is well-considered, with a clear display for transaction verification and hands-on device authorization offering peace of mind with every use. It's designed to be user-friendly, although the setup process and ongoing management could be daunting for those not tech-savvy.Performance-wise, the wallet functions as a robust vault for digital assets. It supports an extensive range of coins and tokens, surpassing expectations for versatility. The CC EAL5+ security certification is also reassuring, though for the average user, the implications of this might be somewhat obscure. When compared to other hardware wallets, the biometric security feature is a significant differentiator. However, the real test of such a device is in its resilience over time and under threat, which is something only long-term use can reveal. In terms of value, if the security features perform as promised, it could justify the price point for those who hold significant digital assets and require high security.Positives include the biometric security, the extensive coin and token support, and the secure yet portable design. Areas for improvement could be in making the device more intuitive for those less familiar with crypto hardware and perhaps offering more guidance on security practices. In conclusion, I would recommend the SecuX Shield Bio Crypto Hardware Wallet to serious cryptocurrency users who prioritize security and have a diverse portfolio. It's best suited for those with a good understanding of crypto assets and a need for high-level security measures.

If you understand this technology, and you want more security, this is perfect for you.
This works exactly as advertised. I moved over fractions of ETH, and had zero issues pulling it back out. Now, I didn't get it to just play around, it is now holding a lot of my coin, sitting safely at home. I don't carry it around like a credit card (I assume some might), because I am too paranoid. However, if you do carry it with you, it does fit easily in a wallet. It is loaded with features, some standard (like a 24 word recovery key), along with a fingerprint sensor. The pairing with the App (for Andoird) worked seamlessly and to connect, a passcode needs to be entered (extra layer of security). The battery seems to last a long time, and to fully charge it is recommended for 2 hours. You use the chip of the card to give it more juice. It's great! The documentation included in the box is excellent. It doesn't overwhelm you and it makes it very easy to follow. It has a ton of supported coins and popular wallet bridges (like MetaMask). All work with it flawlessly. I was able to test my first ETH transaction using the App and Coinbase.Overall I am extremely happy with this hardware wallet. SecuX made an excellent product to add a layer of security from hackers. If you're concerned about the safety of your investments.. this is a no brainer to get it off of the internet. I would highly recommend!

Interesting hardware wallet
Easy to setup the wallet and the IOS companion app is simple to use.Currently I was only able to work with Bitcoin, since Cardano is NOT supported, contradicting the Amazon page that states that support for the coin is available with is incorrect. For that reason I would advise you to buy it if you only use bitcoin or ETH.I already contacted SecuX support to get a timeline for the altcoins support on the IOS device. Also note that the desktop app does not support this wallet at the moment of this review.I will update my review with SecuX team feedback (or lack of it)

Not for me
I think the card itself is a neat concept and I like the security from the packing to the device itself. It uses the chip reader area to connect to charge. I like that there is a display to confirm addresses and transactions. I am not fond of the up and down buttons as they do not function every time they are pressed. I had to reinstall the mobile app a few days after initial setup because the wallet would not connect anymore via Bluetooth. I dislike how the app needs precise location permission for setup and use of the device. Also a second app is needed to perform updates for the wallet. I wanted this wallet for Solana and SPL tokens but I am yet to find where and how to add SOL from the tokens that are supported. Adding tokens and token accounts is discouraging to me. It seems to be more difficult than it needs to be. I do not believe it is at all user friendly at this point. When the wallet is powered on my phone does detect a NFC chip. I was not able to find out what that is used for. The battery life seems to be alright. Because I would never keep large amounts of crypto on a wallet that is meant for more frequent usage. My conclusion by this point is that I would rather use a hot wallet on my mobile device for more frequent or daily transactions. Overall I am not satisfied with this SecuX product.
