I had some post surgical complications that caused me significant pain and cramping in my legs. My sister turned me on to these ice packs and they were a godsend. The material inside the pads gets cold and stays cold, but doesn't freeze and stays pliable. One side is covered in a soft material and the other side is bare plastic. The shape of the pad and the straps would be ideal for lower back pain. I used the pad to cover my sacral area, downward across my buttock and down my affected leg by laying on it. I put one in the freezer to chill while I use the other. I haven't used one for a heating pad yet, but you can heat them in the microwave if you watch how long you heat it and don't overheat it. I found these to be extremely helpful and recommend them for use.

So I was originally satisfied when opening up the package. But it has this smell to it… not a stinky one but an annoying smell. It’s smells like a strong baby oil perfume is the only way I can describe it. I sprayed it with disinfectant spray and froze it a couple times so far the smell is still there. I may return this if the smell doesn’t fade.

The size and Velcro on this make it so versatile. I use it on my lower back, and my husband wrapped it around his head the other day. Works well! And I personally like the colors.

No matter how long I left it in the freezer it didn't stay cold long. I got about 5 minutes of coldness out of it. For the money I paid I wish I could return it and get a refund.

I needed an ice pack for a shoulder injury. I looked at a lot of options and tried several. This product was the best option. The strap with velcro allows me to wrap it around my shoulder and wear it while I am working on my computer. When it is first out of the fridge and very cold, I start on the fabric side which is soft and felt like and then flip it to the bead side. It stays cold for a long time. It is very flexible and molds to the shape of my shoulder. My daughter also used this product for her lower back, and it worked great for her too. I highly recommend it.

I keep it in the freezer, smells nice and works well for those little injuries.

I bought this in November - I have used it half a dozen times and now the small beads are coming out from one side, as shown in the photo so therefore can't use it as you can't put it in the microwave or freezer! I wanted to return it and hoped you'd replace it for a new one as it did help, ​but it's out of return date!

I bought two of these in Feb 28th. It was delivered earlier as promised which was greatly appreciated. I have been using them for my knees as cold wrap almost every night to help with my patellofemoral syndrome. It’s been really helpful and what I love is that it wraps well around my knees so I can still walk around if needed and they would stay quite steadily. However about a week ago one of the strap’s stitching is starting to unravel. It is down to the last few stitches and after it will get completely undone and it wouldn’t be a useful for me anymore. This only happened with one of them. The other one is still in excellent condition. The beads are still there and I have not had any issues with ruptures. I am trying to figure out how to contact the seller to request for a replacement for the one with the unraveling strap but not sure how. So hopefully they will respond via this review. I would totally have given them 5 stars if it weren’t for the unraveling stitch.
