Good Choice for Multi-room Audio System
The ACE640TT is a good looking trimless design with decent audio. I'm using several of them in my whole-house background music system and the sound is very good, even when pushed to higher volumes.Small rooms used this 6" speaker, whereas larger rooms were upgraded to OSD's 8" speaker (also available on Amazon).There's very little stereo channel separation, but I expected that from a dual tweeter speaker. Not an issue for me since these play soft rock background music throughout my home that is best described as elevator music.Because I had attic access, every speaker was protected in a attic mounted "back box" enclosure. I used Recessed Light Covers sold by the local big box hardware store (also avail on Amazon, see https://www.amazon.com/Tenmat-FF130-Covers-Recessed-Lighting/dp/B002XVPUAO).Overall I'm happy with the audio quality. And WAF is high, thanks to the trimless design.
